Crystal Kin is an exploration driven RTS game that features procedurally generated maps for the players to explore and conquer. The maps include randomly generated NPC factions, bosses, and scripted events that the player will need to deal with in order to win. Game modes will include single player vs AI, online and LAN multiplayer and persistent online servers with very large game worlds, to explore and build massive empires; allowing diverse play that can last from 30 minutes several days.


screensGame Features

  • Procedurally generated maps, which include bosses; NPC factions, random monsters and scripted events that are triggered throughout the game. 

  • Up to 8 player multiplayer, larger amounts of players are supported with persistent map severs.Single player games against AI, as well as a planned story campaign.

  • Three unique factions, including background lore and characters for each faction.
     
  • Highly interactive units, this isn’t the kind of RTS where you will just run hundreds of units at the enemy, each unit - while being able to basic attack- will also have one to four skills that need to be activated for things such as AOE stuns, silences, buffs and enemy debuffs.

  • A Hero system, where you will pick a persistent hero for that game that can be resurrected when killed and be upgraded with unique powers!

  • ...and much more!

Crystal Tree Boss Concept Art

What happens when a tree grows too closely to crystals beaming with magical energy? The tree becomes self-aware and decides to create a family of creepy tree-crystal saplings. You should probably kill her before your base becomes overgrown.



Stone Guard Unit Concept Art


The Stone Guard are the main force behind the Stone Scorpions tribe, morphing yourself into a Stone Guard is considered very honourable, given how difficult it becomes to sleep afterwards. These guys are the main tanks for the Shattered Tribes, with their ability's being Shield Rush and Tail Swipe.


Dawn Runners Unit Concept Art


Dawn Runners are a tribe of hunters, who often spend their time out in the wilds of the Shattered Wastes. Their beasts are not easily tamed, and fiercely loyal when a bond has been made. These guys specialize in tracking and hunting monsters across the map.
