ColourRunners is a first-person, free roaming platforming game with a large emphasis on rewarding players with positive aural and visual feedback.
The core mechanic of the game focuses on movement. The player is only capable of moving on trails of ink. To compensate for the restriction of movement players are capable of walking anywhere ink has been laid down including up vertical surfaces. The player is equipped with an ink gun which they have direct control over which grants them the ability to create ink trails wherever they please.
There is no narrative or characters in ColourRunners. The game has been designed with the intent that players are able to unwind and have fun with it without requiring them to invest a huge amount of their time. It should be accessible to anyone, regardless of previous video game experience.

As the subject and summary suggest, a playable build of ColourRunners is now available to download!
It's a small level demonstrating our mechanic and visual style. It is still quite buggy and can be broken quite easily but hopefully you'll still be able to enjoy it :)
It can be played with either a Mouse & Keyboard or an Xbox 360 pad. There is a small tutorial area that only has reference to the 360 pad regardless of what control scheme you are using so bear that in mind.
Ha! Listen to me yammering on! Just click the ColourRunners downloads tab to find the build, download it, give it a try then and let us know what you think!

This is the best I've ever seen. That would have been even and the paint of different colors. And a male voice.
the game looks really nice and unique, but need a bit more challanging, some little missions and more colours.
God, please don't die.
It needs an effect when spraying, somthing comming out of the gun
It looks great but is there nothing you can do about the paint spraying on a little choppy? (Its a little unsmooth with the placing down decals/overlays)
I love it....it' such a fun looking game.
Perhaps different types of paint allow you to move on different surfaces...and you have to collect the paint in the level.
Will the paint spray gun model...once completed actually shoot/spray paint :D
