Bad girl is a third person shooter intended to pay homage to the games, movies and culture of the 1990's. An action-packed, yet laid back nostalgia trip.

You are Bad Girl, a badass undercover cop who's the only one who can save the day when a crime lord takes control of downtown Nishinsill. Make your way to the Asuhara building and fight your way up the skyscraper.

Main inspirations are Die Hard Trilogy, Virtua Cop and Tekken.

Your arsenal consists of four powerful weapons, each with a secondary feature. Rescue the hostages, kill the bad guys and get to the elevator!

I'm back! After a period of reflection and recalibration, I'm thrilled to announce the resurgence of Bad Girl with a renewed focus on delivering a thrilling, yet methodical, gaming experience. Building upon the foundation of classic 90s shooters, the new concept emphasizes smaller, action-packed levels with intense combat encounters and minimal dialogue. But we need your help to ensure that every aspect of the game, including its UI, aligns with our vision of delivering an unforgettable retro experience.

Bad Girl has undergone a significant transformation since I took a break from it two years ago. The concept has evolved into a meticulously crafted adventure that combines the best elements of classic shooters with modern sensibilities. From revamped mission structures to more intense combat scenarios, every aspect of the game has been tailored to deliver a balanced and immersive gameplay experience.

To reflect this shift in philosophy, I've decided to rename the game from just Bad Girl to Bad Girl Turbo.

UI

We're excited to present three unique UI proposals for "Bad Girl Turbo," each offering a distinct visual style and gameplay experience. Inspired by the nostalgia of 90s CRT televisions and VHS players, this proposal features pixelated fonts and elements against a sleek, all-grey backdrop. While clean and modern, it may lack visual hierarchy and excitement.

Memphis

Embracing bold colors, funky shapes, and intricate sprites inspired by the iconic Memphis design movement, this proposal injects a dose of vibrant energy into the UI. However, its eye-catching aesthetics may border on distracting for some players.

Modern

Striking a balance between form and function, the Modern theme offers a discreet and functional UI with clear emphasis on readability and usability. Background elements enhance visibility without overshadowing the core gameplay experience.

I too support stronk wyman. All jokes aside, Interesting concept. Might be more palatable, with a "lightgun" type setup/gameplay though. On second thought, WinBack was an amazing/similar style game (N64). I would love to see a game that echos a similar style and manages to pull it off well.

While I neither intend to make this game a rail shooter nor a cover-based one, I very much do aim to replicate the magic of 90's action games.
