Why Early Access?

“Although this already could be considered a fully featured 3D music software, it is the first of its kind and we would like feedback from users to help make this experimental software great!

We want to make this a very stable and easy to use before we take it out of early access and start incrementally implementing more advanced features.”

Approximately how long will this software be in Early Access?

“Hopefully we will be able to take it out of early access within a couple of months, until all users are happy with the current features. Once it is out of early access we will still be working on adding brand new features.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“It is already packed with enough features for you to create your own 3D music tracks. However, we are still working on new features such as timeline views, sequencers and animation editing.

We plan to take it out of 'early access' once any bugs are fixed and we can see users are creating great music with ease.

After early access we will still be working on new features, we have no plans to raise the price after adding new features.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“It is a full 3D audio workstation, allowing you to create as many pieces of music as you want.
It could already be considered a full version, however we have many plans to add new features in the future.”Will this software be priced differently during and after Early Access?“We do not have any plans to change price as we leave early access.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We would love early access users to post recordings made with the software and suggest many new features.”

I appreciate the work you put into this program. I really do. But I have one question, what is the purpose of it? I mean games are for entertainment, music programs are for creating music (or monkeying around with other people's music as for most). There are space sims that acquaint us with the accurate workings and orbital structure of space objects in 3D space. But for the life of me I don't know what can this program be used for.

Again I really appreciate you for being able to program this. But why?

Thanks for the comment.
It is intended to be music software that allows you to load sounds into each of the planets and create 3D music. I created it because I wanted to make experimental 3D ambient music myself and I couldn't find any music software which is designed for 3D music.

I have received similar comments as yours from some non-electronic musicians, a few people mistook it for just a bad space simulation game.
However, the solar system/planets were just an aesthetic after-thought, which I hoped would make it look a bit more interesting instead of making them plain spheres.

Many people find it hard to grasp exactly what 3D music is, as it isn't really mainstream yet, but hopefully some people can learn to use Aurrery as 100% music software.

Thank you for explaining. I know what 3D music is, I just thought it was called stereo music, I just didn't guess. I would like to make a suggestion about the trailer. Maybe you could add some music to it, to showcase 3D music. If you have created one, because as of right now the trailer doesn't clearly explain what it is presenting.

Much love, I wish you all the best. And again I want to underline that I didn't mean any offense with my question. I really respect programmers, and above all programmers who love good music (as seen by the link above).

Good luck, and thanks again
