Apocalyptic is a small top down survival game built in Scirra Construct set after a nuclear catastrophe, and most of the worlds population is wiped out. The player must build a shelter inside a building, and then collect resources to survive against zombie attacks and rival NPCs.
Not a screenshot at all, so don't get your hopes up. Us much as I'd love to be able to create Apocalyptic so it uses 3D models as well as this, it isn't going to happen. This is because Construct is not designed for 3D graphics, so there is only limited support.
I was looking at Unity before, but I caught myself and stopped relatively quickly, because if I start learning Unity and proper coding now, I'll lose interest in Construct and the Apocalyptic project will grind to a stand still. So for now, I'll work with CC... but perhaps later, I may try and take it to full 3D.
Plus I'm only a beginner at modelling, so it would require learning modelling that or hiring a 3D artist if I wanted to take it to Unity.
Decent models considering you aren't exactly aiming for a game made with CryEngine 3 or anything.
Thanks. Seeing you use Construct, I guess you know how frustrating it's going to be getting them to work in Construct...
