I mean it, anyone who used to read my posts here should really check out my Game Informer blog. Quality is far better and I've got a healthy backlog of posts on there now that you can read.
Well I finally got to play Spec Ops after you made me curious and while the gameplay itself is in my opinion generic third person shooter gameplay (which doesn't mean I didn't enjoy it), the story was rather interesting. Thanks for the recommendation :)
Np, and glad you got to play it. I advise giving the multiplayer a shot as well -- the focus on stealth, planning, and tactics makes it break away from the standard run-and-gun mechanics of most FPS/TPS games.

It is actually that good. It isn't a Call of Duty clone. You should play it. Don't judge it just by the trailer -- play the demo, play a friend's copy, buy it yourself. Spec Ops is the complete opposite of Call of Duty.
