Making it on the homepage Thread

I see a lot of demos that people release make it on the IndieDB front page in that panning graphic right above the articles. I am interested to know how one gets their demo to display there. Does it need to achieve a download count or view count? Does the game itself require a specific following to show up there? Any insight or info is appreciated.

You're game has to be released and you have to accomplish some points with your game. There's a specific blog article for that but I forgot that honestly :/
