Another step forward for Rascal Rider. Although we have tested the multiplayer code before it was just a very basic test back then. That's why after preparing a proper location, some animations, tweaking the physics and some visual effects we have decided to put some more time into testing the cross-platform online gameplay.
We have run a test with standalone PCs, a web player build, 2 android devices and a Windows Phone 8 device, with all of them running smoothly.
After running this test our main focus will be fininshing the bike physics and the steering both on standalone and mobile devices. What we are very happy about is the overall performance so far, as the game allows for smooth gameplay on all tested devices.
Our next milestone will be preparing the first gameplay video to give you a proper look at our vision of the Rascal Rider experience.
