Surprisingly, a fair bit of progress.
Really, today was about fixing the item system and get it to a useable form. Carim's done quite a lot of the work for this, for example the finished inventory system:
He's also done this amazing new message box system:
Now for what I've done. I've made an item editor and though that seems insignificant I wasted a fair bit of time on it. Who knows, maybe it'll be in creative mode:

Crawle is nearing completion and its at a point where we're very open to ideas that the community may have. Unfortunately our community seems to be unfortunately a bit quiet. Signing up and being a part of the community would mean a great deal to us, but also to you guys as you can expect a lot of community-driven content in-game and who knows, maybe your idea will end up in Crawle and maybe it'll even improve the game and stop us doing stupid things ;]

The Item Editor is a great idea in a creative/constructive mode =D
Im VERY interested in this, I loved Notch's Minicraft alot and this reminds me tiny bit of it. Though im sure its nothing like that :)
There's a reason why people don't compare Crawle to Minicraft. They suspiciously disappear ;)
I'll make a suggestion: Ask some big youtube character to make a video out of your game, when you feel like its good enough, for example ask Paulsoaresjr
