Updates & Changes

The main idea will remain the same, the game will be a 2D Narrative Adventure Puzzle game.

The objective of the game is to tell you the story of “Verniantite '' by solving puzzles placed around the level(city of Luytsi), but instead of going with a “top-down” camera, we will go with a “side-view” camera.

The game art will be inspired in the comic books of “Hellboy”, in an aesthetic more of the German expressionism, with hard shadows and soft lights.

Kuzma, the main character of our game, lives in a Diesel-Punk World, in the year 2222, Verneantite is the country and Luytsi is the city.

In order to get the story, the player will need to explore the level and find the section of each panel, this section will have a puzzle, in order to continue the story the player must solve it, unlocking a the next section, progressively until the end of the story.

We are now working on the core mechanics:

  • Movement and Jump;
  • Props to Pull & Push and Levers & Buttons to activate;
  • Enemies Patrolling an area
