Hello, indieDB Community!

We are the Dink Donk Studios, an indie Portuguese game dev team.

Welcome to our very first post - here we will talk about the game we are currently developing - Freedom’s Path -, including some mechanics and concept art.

This game will consist on the main character finding her parents by surviving a war scene.

Our game’s main character, a 10 year old child, is trying to find her parents, since she got lost in the war that is currently happening (Ukraine and Russia), and she will need to survive in an unknown place.

This week, our team did some general research about stealth games and its mechanics, more mechanics that could be implemented to have the game more enjoyable. Some art studies about the environment.

These are some mechanics that we wanted to put in our game.

Now we will show some of the art studies.

Concluding, we searched for some mechanics and did some art studies.

We reached the end of our 1st article.

Hope you stick around and find out more about our journey in developing Freedom’s Path!
