Not sure if it's been mentioned but... I had to install libpng12 and libjpeg6 from the AUR on Arch to get it to run.

Any chance of Desura keys from the latest Humble Bundle?
You might want to also look in to updating the tutorial now that you've changed the controls :P
Ubuntu has the largest user base, so it would probably be best to go with that.
Edit: they also have a everything and the kitchen sink approach. So if you're comfortable with Linux, you might want to try Debian or Arch, so you can be sure of EXACTLY what dependencies are needed. But if you're not, just use Ubuntu or Mint and we can figure out the rest ;)
Ok. Thanks for your reply. Do you know about when that will be?
This looks really fun. Is there ever going to be a Linux version?
It won't run. I get:
desura/common/towns/lib/native/liblwjgl.so: wrong ELF class: ELFCLASS32 (Possible cause: architecture word width mismatch)
Any help?
It's no problem. I'm on a 5 year old laptop. I'm used to difficulties :P
I'm on a 64 bit installation but running "multilib." The 64 bit download over there to the right runs like a champ so I'm satisfied. I am willing to debug my problem for you further if you would like.
I get:
./BeansQuest: error while loading shared libraries: libstdc++.so.6: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
when running your command you just gave me and when trying to run the desura_launch_Play.sh.
Edit: I seem to be getting an error with libstdc++ with a lot of games. I have it installed though. There is a lib32 version available... maybe I shouldd install that?
The game won't run for me. When I try to play it through Desura it doesn't do anything. If I go to the folder where the binary is and run ./BeansQuest in the terminal I get:
./BeansQuest: error while loading shared libraries: libsfml-system.so.1.6: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
Any idea what might be wrong? libsfml-system.so.1.6 is in the lib32 folder. I'm on Arch Linux.
Yeah mine is doing that too. So does Project Black Sun. On Arch 64-bit.
