Its only a small part of the galaxy actually. The bulges you see are the star clusters and nebulas.

Its all 3d, and you zoom in and out sort of like google maps instead of "switch views."

300 star system about 2000 planets

Maybe the game will expand to that. I don't know.

And some stars rotate around other stars. Take the closest star system to us. It has 2 binary stars and a 3rd far away star that orbits them.

We use hyperspace jump, its pretty much instantaneous in game.

We all want great death animations and fx! 2aw will have them - but sadly it does not now. Simply because our part-time volunteer does not have enough man power! It will i promise!
