I understand what you are saying, but this game wasn't structured as a free to play game. This game was structured as a pay once and enjoy everything there is to offer. I'm not saying F2P isn't a valid buisnesss model, I'm just saying this game hasn't been built in a manner to be F2P.

In my bad analogy it is like telling a resteraunt owner to make it free to order water and salad, but charge them for toppings and such seperately.

The general idea is that they couldv'e chose F2P if they wanted to, but as you can see they haven't. Maybe in the future they could make a free demo where you can only play one class or somthing. Anyway thanks for replying. :D

What you are saying is equivilant to telling a reseraunt owner that you would eat his food if it was free. Sorry pal, but game development isn't easy. I know you mean no ill intent, but making a game free isn't very cost effective for a developer.

Your comment holds a lot of truth about how gamers have changed from what they once were, but the market has also changed a lot. I honestly meant no insult to this game or mean to come off as greedy or cheap. I honestly hope this game does very well, along with other indie developers.

Sorry if I offended you (or the game developer) with my comment. I can see how you would interpret it as "Your game looks terrible! Lower the price and I'll consider buying", and by all means I didn't intend that at all. As stated in my comment, this game looks great! It is definitely a spin from most multiplayer games, especially those triple A title games like Call of Duty and Battlefield who regurgitate the same game each year. The reason why I suggest (no demand) for them to lower the price is because I think that the game would be more successful if them game is cheaper. This game is multiplayer only, with no form of singleplayer in it, so this game is player dependent for the game to work, especially with the staggering and spectacular 100 vs 100 player battles. If the price is lower more people can buy the game, and the game becomes easier to suggest to others to play.

I feel this game is worth more than it's $15 price. If this was some other random third party game it would likely sell for $30. I've programed games before. It takes alot of time and effort to make them, and the games that I've made were terrible small games, that I never got to finish. These guys are awesome for making such a great looking game.

And don't think I dismiss your entire statement. I agree that PC gamers have been spoiled to some degree by Steam sales and Humble Bundle sales, and think they deserve a lower price for games than their initial value. But mind that nowadays games and gamers have grown in mass number over the recent years, and that from what used to be a niche hobby back in the day is now one of the biggest and fastest growing media type today. The only way small games even get a chance is because of there lower value, which makes it an easier buying decision. I don't say this is right, but it is how it is.

To tell you the truth most games are procedually generated, which includes Minecraft. Procedual means it is built based on the previous desision made by the program. If Minecraft was truly randomly generated then there would be diamond blocks on the surface, and wood blocks underground. A randomly generated game would be quite unpleasent to play. If this game was randomly generated, then your player could be spawned in a broken level, where the player is trapped by a surrounding wall from all sides. Sorry to break it to ya, but the description is quite accurate.

So last stand mode is like a tradtional shoot to survive gametype? With the money do you need to find stores, or spend it where ever you are?

You should add gold and shops! Maybe add a hub overworld where you can buy equipment, then go back underground. Each level of the dungeon should have a teleporting room where you can teleport back to the surface, and be able to teleport back to the same level you were on from the overworld.

Now this is the update I can't wait for!

What engine did you use?

Will there be a limit on how many companians you have? And will other players (when multiplayer) count as companions? Will there be pets, and will they count as companions?

Will you be adding more elemental effects? Like burning, frozen, and stunned?

This game isn't owened by Microsoft. What are you talking about? It might've been on XBox Live but doesn't mean it is owned by them. The company is small and are re-releasing it on Desura (for less than it was originnally) so they can fund there next game project.

Randomly Generated villages? Sounds like an endless Elder Scrolls! I'm digg'n that!

This game is like a 3d Terraria! I just noticed, because I just bought Terraria again for my PS3! This is definately a good thing! Terraria is like a more action-y Minecraft. There is ton of loot, and epic boss battles! And there are rocket boots!
