Never too late to join in - but it just goes to show how important it is to keep on posting even after launching!

I think both are good.
I would say that the biggest issue is finding games that are good now as we are spoilt for choice (there are far more games now than 'back in the days').

Two other problems come into play:
1. General knowledge of the diversity of the Indie Scene is not as big as it should. Most people know of AAA games or cash grab mobile games due to the ludicrous amount spent on ads. If I didn't know of the Indie Scene, I'd easily say that games back in my youth were so much better.

2. Money seems to corrupt even the best (BUT not all). Take Blizzard for example. When they were new they created gems like Warcraft, WOW, Starcraft (not to everyone's liking but no one can argue about their popularity and impact on gamers globally). It was obvious that when they created these games, they were doing it as a passion, as much for themselves as for gamers.

Now, all you need to do is look at Warcraft 3 Reforged and you can see that this is not a passion project, it's a corporate project with 'revenue' in mind as well as 'how to stop things like DOTA slipping through our fingers'. I'll reserve my judgment for Diablo Immortal until it's released though.

Yes, it will be on the Switch, but released at a later date!

That's certainly a good thing. The developers have made it really clear that The Little Prince was a big source of inspiration for them!
