Hi, just wanted to say that I am playing a mage character and I am very happy with the magic system in this game, as it's very unique. Unlike any other Warband mod, with how well thought out it is.

Three observations/notes I want to make:

1. From off the top of my head, there's the fire (red) and energy (blue) magic from Arcanice, the bard magic from the half-orcs, and the black magic from the undead desert guy and from Skullzow. Correct me if I am missing anything.

2. There is not a whole lot to differentiate the different schools of magic in the mod. I know the final fire spell is an AOE, which no other school of magic has, but I'm looking forward to new spells that can fit specific niches. Maybe the final blue spell can be really accurate at long range, and the final black magic spell can hold more shots/be full-auto (hold down the mouse button). Obviously you don't have to take any of these suggestions, but the takeaway here should be that I'm looking forward to building upon the system because I feel like it makes this mod very unique. Same goes if you wish to add any additional schools of magic as well (ice magic, goblin magic, etc. whatever you want to add).

4. Playing as a mage character, by the time you get to the goblin warlock, the stuff he sells are not particularly interesting. You would not have the expected >15 strength required for any of the melee weapons, and the staves don't really do as much as I though (or am I missing something)? The outfits are nice, though. I wish the staff weapons did a bit more.

You can purchase a grimoire from one of the undead locations (there's one at Skullzow, which is west of Yarasia, and one in the desert in the southwest). After you obtain a grimoire, and have sufficient necromancy skill, you can raise the dead by taking an action in the camp menu.

Love this mod! It feels so true to the original game, which I love. Many other mods have stuff that feels out of place, where you can pick out things that look and feel plastered on. But in this mod, everything feels like it has a place and fits in with everything else.

Looking forward to the next version. Checking back every day.

Since you are planning on adding localized insurgents (such as Redshirts for Italy), are you planning on implementing other countries?

Notably, the one that I'm thinking of off the top of my head would be for Ireland. I suppose in this period, it would be the Fenian Rising of 1867. They would be called "Fenians" or "Fenian Insurrectionists" or "Irish Republicans," or something like that. Since Italy is formable, and it has its own custom flag, would you think about implementing potential flags for player nations (Ireland, Scotland, various other eastern European/Balkan states, etc.)? Thanks in advance.

Looking forward to it.

Wish we could get more clothes at the tailors in cities. They just sell adventurer clothes and ladies' dresses. Are you open for specific cities selling their own faction's uniforms, or maybe planning on more "civilian" clothing? Looking for more variation. As always, excited for the next update. Keep in good health.

I found that occurring when there are large battles with multiple types of units. In battles against deserters (the "free brothers"), where all of them were lancers, they were charging at me just fine. Same with the desert bandits (the ones with turbans and horses).

When I fought a pitched battle against a British guy, he had around four cavalry units equipped with lances. They were arranged at the corners of his unit formation, so I think it's meant to be a historically accurate maneuver to guard his flanks, as his artillery and line infantry were concentrated in the middle.

When I approached these cavalry units, however, they didn't charge at me or anything. They just kind of stood in place. Not sure what's going on with that, but hopefully this context helps the mod authors somehow.

Very cool update; to be clear, the player character, starting out as an adventurer, can besiege any town/castle like in the vanilla game, correct? Since they don't have a fief to border anything at that moment. After their first conquest, the border rule applies.

Any plans to flesh out the firearms more? Would love to see double-barrel and lever action shotguns and and such. The handgun reload speed seems a bit slow to me, but I do recognize it's for a balance reasons. Having it be two to three times a musket's reload speed is a bit long, though.

Looking forward to the next update.

Bugs I found -
Lords referred to me as "of common birth" even though I selected that my father was an Aristocrat in the pre-game menu.
Can't seem to leave the tavern without going to the menu (cannot interact with the tavern door to go back into town). Saw this occur in London, may have to do further testing in other towns to see if that also occurs.
End of battle screen ("You were victorious!" screen) has weird repeating pattern (https://i.imgur.com/2SyDq1W.jpg).

Overall, very cool, but quite laggy. Would love to see future updates. Any word on custom troop trees? After I take over territory, I'd love to equip my own soldiers with custom uniforms and such. Wish you could zoom out more on the map, though.

You mention the player faction, so my question is, will the player faction have its own troop tree, that can be customized? It looks very cool so far, it would be very cool to have "custom" troop trees, where you can outfit your own soldiers and name each rank.

You also mention that it starts in 1860, will we be able to play as the Americans (Confederate/Union), or will this mod be more European/Middle East focused?

Thirdly, there are Italian/German unifications happening on the historical date, it would be cool to see an "American" unification as well.

Also, the artillery looks very cool, I hope you implement more period-specific stuff to this mod, such as bayonet charges and observation balloons. Though I don't really know how the balloons could be implemented, maybe just static decoration objects in siege scenes or something.

Other cool period-specific things to implement could be submarines and ironclads (if you're planning on fleshing out the naval side of things in a future update), or train guns if you're to focus more on land warfare in future updates. Of course, these are all ideas for future updates, as I know you guys are more focused on town/village scenes, troop trees for countries, and stuff like that. Obviously they should be finished first before adding more stuff, but yeah. Just ideas from me.

Victorian Era is a modification based on "the events of the timeline 1860-1890," just wondering, what happens once you hit the 1890 date? I'm assuming there won't be any technologies that are represented after 1890, but if you hit that date in game, you can keep playing, right? And take over the world? The game won't force you to stop once you hit 1890?

Very excited to see how it turns out, looks very good so far.

Wow, very fun. Had a blast using the SMG, they can really shred people up.

I noticed a bug where if I switched from my PPSh-41 to my Mosin Nagant Carbine, all of my reserve ammo (7.62 tokarev drum magazine) would be refilled (back up to 71). Might want to look into that, or not. Doesn't matter to me, had a great blast using my infinite ammo PPSh-41. :-P

Overall, it is very fun and looking forward to improvements and patches to some issues (notably some of the weapons are listed as an "unknown" weapon type, such as the white "snow rifle").

I see the Italian peninsula conspicuously empty, looking forward to playing in Italy, though I know the mod is "Snow in the East", so I understand it if the focus is on the Eastern front. It would be cool to see Italian/Albanian volunteers/mercenaries show up in taverns and such. Looking forward to the next version.

A lot of models in the city scenes show up as purple question marks. Also, the "tribal knife" has a bug where if you equip it, it stays on your belt and it looks like you're holding an invisible knife. Anyways, looking forward to where this is going.

This mod is great, reminds me of Prophesy of Pendor. I'd love to have a custom player culture, once we start our kingdom, with custom troop trees. That would be a dream. It would be cool if we could make our army all dwarfs or something like that. I would be happy beyond words.

It says WSE is needed, but this version says WSE is included; so do I have to install WSE separately or not? Or do I just patch this over the main version.
