I hope you enjoy it as much as we! And remember all content (including DLCs this year) are free. We have a whole year of major updates for each month an minor updates to keep things interesting and a reminder of why we decided to go Indie. It's not about the money it's about doing what we love (though being able to keep doing it as our lives get more complicate with family and such isn't bad heh). Be sure to check out the videos and research before you buy!

We are always optimizing and hope we can help you in the future that will no longer be the case. We've done so much to allow a so much more than was originally locked and optimized it so that systems that don't meet requirements can still run it and some at higher settings than expected. I can't promise anything other than we will do our best to further improve all things Contagion :)
We understand that to and will do our best to be patient, explain, and leave it to them to understand or not. Can't force ppl to understand.
Contagion may be Full Released but we have our budget set aside to continue working on the game for a good long time while including our Free DLC (New characters, weapons, maps, and game-modes). This may or may not help - Steamcommunity.com
Animations are limited by the current system but we're working on a more advanced layer system for the 1000+ Player/AI Survivor and Zombie animations that we will continue to add in with our updates like the SDK for our modders this Sunday. We couldn't hide behind "Early Access" forever and are use to ppl ignoring the AAA bugs and forgetting we don't have their numbers or budget. Still I understand your view point and promise you won't feel that way for long. We're quite dedicated.
As do I. Great times during testing and after. Human bridges/ladders, goldsrc brilliance, and a great deal of nostalgia.
That would be Flatline a gamemode coming out in our first free DLC later this year :)

Unfortunately there wasn't much competition here. Linux is great, Mac looks great, Window dominates right now. This is changing slowly but still changing which is good for all imho.
No this model is available to all. The reward was for the user who pledged this specific tier the chance to help us create a unique melee weapon based off their own ideas and/or designs. The pocket flashlight has reached it's timed exclusive and will be available to all (either already or in next patch haha).
We've already set the ground work up for both Mac and Linux. While we don't have an ETA our focus on it will jump to the top of the list soon after release (have to have a playable and balanced game set to promised release date). We will be releasing Linux and Mac!
It will be moddable but due to our more complex maps and scripting and 3rd party software it will not be as easy as HL2. That said we have created our own SDK tools that make modding easier in some ways and have managed to make wWise our new sound system moddable which was a close call.

3-4x biggers if you consider the different floors each map has like in apartments and such as well.
Large but there are limits with this Engine. We're not trying to compete with Open World Survivalist (Eat/Drink/etc/quests) genre which I'm still waiting to see if they hit the mark myself eagerly.

Sorry you feel that way. It helps to look into games before purchasing them so you don't make false assumptions and end up disappointed. I recommend the following to research-
"Early Access" (Open Beta and not the final product)
Contagion Escape Mode (Nothing is pointless and if you wanted epic story telling we're sorry we left it up to players and randomness to do the job for us which actually required more effort)
Anything Contagion related before Winter Sale :)

Yeah, you spent 4 minutes and ignored the ironsight sensitivity option. As for the controls and mechanics the vocal majority disagrees with you.
I'm in no way offended but playing a game for 4 minutes having done no research or attempting to improve the quality of your experience suggests your intention was in fact to do so :)
