I have to admit that I have not read through all the comments on the page on this post so if I have repeated anyone's views I apologize. I am also going to try to be adult as possible about this

Regardless of the mods content I do believe this is a low blow to freedom of expression and the right people to create what they believe needs to be created. I also find that the website known as a great host to this content is the one who caved first to the reactions of others some of whom do not know anything to do with gaming in the first place.

However this will not affect my opinion of moddb in anyway or change how I have used it and will continue to use it. It is understandable why you have done this and while I and what looks like many others disagree with you I find it a totally respectable decision for the fact that you knew that by satisfying one side the other would retort.

Everyone here who believes that this was the wrong choice and is demanding the mod be re-opened and those who are insulting the media and others who supported the decision while expected moddb to be tolerant are being absolutely hypocritical. This is a time where we must tolerate moddb decision, and for the years I have browsed this website it is the first that I have ever disagreed with. Don't let this break the community.

This is cool, but i have to disagree with originality, as this is used in metro 2033.

It seems with the addition of camouflage that the vehicles have lost their familiar color schemes, the Empire's infamous black and the NF their ragtag reddish orange.

Who ever said you had to love steam? You're entitled to your own opinion, but windlab is right, this isn't a place to discuss valve/steam business. Also the gaming/computing industry is stronger than ever. Just the fact that an indie studio can spend little money and produce a great game like this proves that. I'll definently have to buy this game, steam or not.

The only improvement I can think of is more gibs for the vehicles, maybe split the chasis in half? The rest is great, massive amout of explosions and breakables. It gets to be insane.

That happened to me when i deleted autoexec.cfg, check if yours is missing.
