Crash was fixed by installing to another location despite running in admin mode and having UAC off, just thought it might help someone else.

Awesome mod by the way, can't wait to see how it improves!

Tried that :( like I said going to try a re-download. Read something on GSC's forum that it could be related to a thumbs.db file.

:( insta crashes the game, shows the small initial splash screen then poof, guess ill try a redownload (going to try from ModDB, used the torrent first), reinstal won't help, neither will any of the Common problem tips

(only program I could think that might conflict (has in the past) is set point. I do have EVGA precision running but just to slightly underclock the cards factory OC)

One question, is it possible to make it so the health items found (drinks, food) are not storeable? aka vanilla? Not sure why I'm asking about this to be honest, it would almost be better for food/drinks to affect stamina and not health anyway.

Riptide, despite what many others think, is the better dead island, and your mod just makes it that much better!

After playing for quite a bit, I have noticed one thing that bugs me. It seems that even if you make it to a checkpoint, and die, you go back to that checkpoint as expected, however you have seemingly no chance for a gold ranking because your gold count for the level is reset. Is this on purpose?

Normally not a huge deal, but on some of the longer/harder levels, especially with those damned frogs, its rage inducing, lol.

(after thinking this through a bit more it makes sense. if you die once your not worthy of a gold ranking, but question is still asked just to be sure)

Ok, what is the best way to avoid the frog's tongue? Those island hopping parts are annoying the crap out of me, lol

I can confirm the 404 error is back as of 9/14, other games on desura are still downloading fine.
