I am in the 9th of 11 possible Tiers, and have spent 122 hours in it. My opinion: Great fun, alone or with friends. Pay2Win is not existent in the game, everyone gets a moneybonus when people have a premium account. Nothing that changes gameplay is only available to paying players. Aside from that you get the usual cosmetic stuff, like flags and badges. The developers often release promotional codes for a day premium, with the introduction of curse, the players got 7 days of premium. I havent spent money on the game yet, because i didn't need to, nor did it ever feel incomplete, but the pricing is very fair, relative to other free2play-games. 10 dollars = 10000GC ; 5500GC = 1 month of premium. Of course, the developers made the lower quantities of money less worth in the sense how much GC you get per dollar, still it is a good trade in my opinion. FYI, premium accounts just get double the tech and ingame-money, whilst giving everybody else in the battle a 5% boost to both, but thats more than enough to really speed up the progression and after a month of premium you probably have everything you can have.
