I've thought to myself, I've made so many terminator mods. in the beginning of my modding career my mods started out with humble beginnings with a mod called Terminator Annihilation released on idgames archive. It was a subpar mess with unfished sounds, bad graphics and code that i needed help with. Later on, i wanted to make the terminator class more classic feeling with the original weapons from the move so I've made a playerclass call terminator: classic in my mod Terminator Mayhem Arena. This class was also sub par, however once i released the classic playerclass mod, i started on development on another deathmatch mod, one that would shape my reputation as a doom modder. Terminator: Arena Classic edition was the name of it. it contained classic weapons you see now, such as the spas 12, M47 grenade launcher, and minigun. A 1.0 was released witch was mediocre at best. it wasn't untill i meet Kaapeli47, mod developer of insanity deathmatch witch i grew my influences and style of deathmatch modding from. He helped me with graphics, balance, and sound. I seen that his mod Insanity Deathmatch has overpowered weapons, and that ALL of his weapons where overpowered. i wanted the same for my mod because it was incredibly fun- so we started developing. Eventually version 2.0 was released and i rebranded the mod to Terminator: Arena, began remaking maps, weapons, and graphics. Over time i didn't need to rely on Kaapeli for help, and i grew my own skills, is started using Blender render 3d graphics into 2d animations, i developed skills to making proper deathmatch maps,details and all, and finally i have compiled enough skill and talent with the influnes of others and help from the doom community that i can finally say that i've made a proper wad. This leads to the future, Terminator: Arena 3.0 (definitive edition). this Version will be the mod you come to play when you talk about terminator deathmatch. It'll be so definitive that i'll release it on IDgames archive on doomworld and moddb, and It'll be the FINAL update to the terminator mod!



TermArena3.0 will be released once Zandronum 3.2 is in a stable release, this means there will be some waiting to do. once this happens, be prepared to FRAG! The update will contain 3d pre rendered terminator hands, along with new maps by my friend The1AndOnlyBloo AKA Bloo, along with balance reworks. this playtest stream will be for my mod Terminator: Arena.

Due to stressful life situations, and other things that are important i have to attend to IRL, i will be releaseing Termiantor Mayhem Arena Classic v 2.2 in an early beta release of the update. this is due to time constraints on my end. im moving locations and i must focus on that before i can update the mod properly.

Disclaimer: there is a but that will have to be patched involving player skins in this version. it will be fixed before the final version of 2.2.

it unfotunately seems I made an improper 1.0 of Terminator Mayhem Arena: classic. Howerver, with help form a friend and a ton of playtesting, reworks in graphics and sound desighn will, along with fixing issues, will excell the wads quality.

the fist thing i did is update the graphics, i've fixed the winchester model 1887 by reversing the flip aninmation, then i took the sprites and revamped them, THEN i had a friend re animate them via code and offsets :D

works done by Kaapeli47 also updated the sounds and added more classic sounding weapon desighns to the guns such as the 1887 and spas 12 making the wad feel more authentic. along with arnold lines.

iv'e also added a new taunt and a new BFG9000 to the wad

finnaly im making a map pack MORE FOCUSTED on terminator deathmatching called: JUDGEMENT DAY ARENA!

getting feedback now, i'll be making a graphics pass on the winchester model 1887..

i'll also be adding a few new maps to UNREPENTANT, and two more BFG weapons!

i'll try to polish ths mod as much as possible :D

we've started off strong with release candadate 1 and now candadate 2 is out with a KNOCKOUT!


i've added uppercuts to the wad, it may be buffed to do a devesating amount of damage!

I am currently working on changing my Unrepentant map pack. doing some tweaks here and there to close off some lanes, and also adding a new map: FUTUREWAR!

this will be a terminator themed MULTIPLAYER DEATHMATCH map. it will release the same day as: Mayhem Deathmatch. Terminator is coming to deathmatch with 4 player classes, 3 from TERMINATOR MAYHEM DX, ported over to DECORATE and compatable with ZANDRONUM.
