Thats too complicated to be reverted through an option, but somebody can always make an addon. I can leave the old sprites in a separate zip folder easily accessible in case somebody wants to try it.

The problem is that the minigun is too easy to find when its droped by chaingunners or placed in an early game map. This makes the game too easy.
The machinegun will take the role of a more advanced weapon firing at faster fire rate, but will require learning how to control its recoil.
It's an ultra-rare weapon. You wont find it in most playthroughs.

I see some assets from Brutal Doom here (like the larvae coming from rotting corpses, for example).

Hey people just a heads up, I'm not updating this mod until GZDoom is changed to be able to run with the re-released Steam version of Doom 64. I want to stay away from possible problems with Bethesda and avoid having to take this down.

You can only carry one weapon of each type.
You cant pick up a sniper because you already have a rifle.
You can't pick up a PPSH because you already have a shotgun/submachinegun/grenade launcher
You can't pike a flamethrower because you already have a rocket launcher/machinegun.
Yes. Shotgun can switch to slugs, grenade launcher can fire gas and airburst. And many others.
You just need more people to know your game.
Have you considered making a partnership with some retrowave artists? The gameplay of this game would look great on the background of some 80's synth. Could be a mutual deal and help you both, maybe get the video on the 80's Guy Channel.

Some people are having a problem in Map03 and not being able to finish the level. If this happens to you, just open the console and type NEXTMAP. I will work on a fix.
There are too many levels now to have them in a menu. You must use the console for it now.
Like, type "changemap map02", changemap map02, etc.

Never had this problem either. The only thing I can think of is your mouse having a malfunction. Or having a connected controller that is also malfunctioning and pressing buttons on its own.

This is pretty nice. Just found a bug, you can't exit the building at all (it works like if you had just entered the building again).

Brutal Doom is no longer eligible for MOTY awards since last year because it already won too many consecutive times. But pooled high and got a honorable mention this year again. Thanks for everyone who voted!
