Not sure I understand whats going on, but I dont need to because your game has done the job right when it comes to that 90's feel! I enjoyed it!

Alright so I liked your demo, and you have gotten me intrigued. However, I feel that the story or purpose of the game needs a bit more context you know, because as the player I don't know if this demo is compelling enough to get me hooked for the full version. That being said, how big to you plan the full game to be? And what do you really want to show people to make them want to play the whole game? I suggest expanding the demo to give it more traction. Other than that- good work!
I played your game and while the art is very nice, I got rather bored pretty soon after starting. The concept is interesting, but I feel it can be executed better. You know maybe allowing the player to move around the city and seek out people, or showing the decisions play out after you make them. I just feel your game has not really found its core gameplay mechanic that keeps players interested.
I appreciate the effort and research you guys put into this game. Fits well with Halloween. However, I would of liked to see a bit more player input and gameplay mechanics, you know to get a bit more immersed in the story. I did like the watercolor art and it was rather a unique concept though.
You are quite right when you said this would take place in a run-of-the-mill office, during a run-of-the-mill workday. However, who would of thought that intense concentration would be required to get sick combos on an old IBM computer, and it would be fun at the same time. Nice work.
Okay so I just played and have feedback for you. First of all- You have done a very good job with the 2D art(kind of looks like adult swim or other cartoons, and the graphics are polished and the world has a cool urban feel), and the music is top level as well. However, unfortunately I was unable to complete the game due to some major trigger/dialogue problems. If I skipped or ignored a dialogue trigger and just moved past it, I would get stuck in later rooms and have to quit the game. Also, during the first scene where Bam has the gun to kill the two detective monsters, they attacked to fast, and I was unable to kill the them on my first two tries. I wanted to try again, but after that the game had me respawn and it just froze. The anims were still playing, but I was unable to move or shoot the gun, and it seemed that the trigger or game over mechanic had failed. That being said, this looks like a very promising and fresh game- it just needs a some major testing with triggers, scenes, respawn and dialogue.
Alright so I played it and here's what I thought. First, I really liked the 2D graphics and parallax effect you did. The setting was top notch, and the world and monsters were stylized and fit the mood very nicely. However, I did run into a few complications. Maybe you could allow the player to control the text because it ran a bit to fast for me to read, or sometimes it is also nice to skip it over. Also, in a few scenes before the ending scenes, the player was not able to sprint. Lastly maybe you could elaborate a bit more on the story and origin of the monsters/ have more gameplay involving them? Anyways it was a pleasant game that could use a few tweaks to make even better.
Disco? horror? with some clean graphics! You did a good job animating the sprites- it kind of looks like a cartoon or a comic a bit. Like the style- I’ll give it a try :)
2D horror games are interesting. You know we don’t see them too much in the horror genre, so it will be neat to see what gameplay you’ve got :) Do you have any gameplay footage or a trailer because I’d like to see more.
Looks pretty authentic. I didn’t know Unity 4 was still being used to make games so that’s cool!
Yep - Maybe there won’t be any human enemies but instead you can still see the bullets or the explosions.
I love games based on history! Kind of a rare thing to see you know. Do you have a demo or are you still testing or is this the full version?
You guys went all out with these devlogs/updates. Looks real nice.
I like the graphics- they kind of have an old school 3D look to them. What program did you use?
Maybe you could make the player have more animations so they are not just standing still or look static. Otherwise, everything else looks great!
Alright, so who is going to be the strongest:)
It is a unique idea! Maybe you could make the enemies different colors or abilities to make it easier to differentiate them.
It’s neat that you have a personal connection to the reason for making this game!
Alright. I’ll keep a look out for future updates.
Wow you guys did a real great job on your devlog!
I like the 2D animations. Did you do them all by yourself?
Interesting! Do you have any footage of the gameplay yet, or is it just concept images at this point? I’t would be neat to see more; I didn’t know Blender had it’s own game engine.
This is the first game I have seen about Nebraska!
Thanks! I’m trying a new art style so we will see how it goes.
I like the stylistic choice and the visuals look clean! Looks promising.
Looks neat! Interesting concept for a sim about Baklava!
