Yo - I run my AoE2 1.0c on an old 32-bit Windows XP machine, but it looks like the installer's a 64-bit executable. Any chance of making the installer a 32-bit executable and/or just giving us a ZIP to unload?

The multiplayer map size limit went up to 8MB in 1.24b, so you should be able to run it fine.
Origin, hehe.
Oh well, may the best mod win!
Whew, it's working now! Get in there!
The perils of having to wait for things to get authorised -- there's no synchronisation!
It's a modified Cloud of Fog -- ranged attacks are disabled, melee attacks have a high chance to miss, over a rather huge area.
Right now it's a bit hideous on the framerate (at least on my work laptop) so I might need to tone the emitters down a bit.
There are installation and play instructions in the manual included in the ZIP, "ProjectY4_OperationalHandbook.pdf".
Mmmm, seamlessly enterable. Much nicer than teleport-to-side-area, but not always practical...
Even in its stripped-down state it's well over 5MB, so I don't want to push things too far. If I do add any voice work, I will certainly be recording fresh samples.
I guess I'm going to have to bite the bullet and exchange the nice fades for a straight switch off. :(
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Does it still happen at exactly the same point; when the activation circle finishes fading out on dropping the bomb? If it's elsewhere I might just have missed a model that uses the same technique.
I didn't make the grade :( but it would be nice to know how many nominations I got. Is there a complete listing of all mods that got nominated? I guess it would be thousands long, but I would like to know where I placed overall.
Oh, don't worry, this is only the beginning. It'll be decidedly unsubtle by the end!
What about all us poor sods that didn't get featured? ;_;
Well, I figure that if people have been waiting 2 years for this they can stomach a little longer for the bonus missions!
That country-limitation stuff is pretty brutal. Have they provided any explanation for this policy change?
Aye, it'll be accessible from the Cargo Hold. The map isn't particularly detailed, but it should give you a good indication of where to go if the industrial architecture gets a little confusing.
The pickups are a result of my trying to keep everything to scale. I put invisible hit-boxes around the fiddliest ones, but there may still be room for refinement.
No, it is not possible. This is a singleplayer adventure, and it's been designed and built that way right from the beginning.
AND you can replay the tutorial again and again and again, so it's the gift that keeps on giving!
Well, it's not over yet. The first bug reports are in, and I've got more missions to add...
Let's not count our chickens until people actually start playing...
Well, you can't play the game in that state. Get yourself cleaned up, son.
This map has always been 100% singleplayer.
I don't think I'm spoiling too much by saying "secrets are present in the map". :D
The actual points system from This Wreckage was so totally whacked out and abusable that I've decided to just fall back on plain old stats. Might assign scores once I've got a better idea of how difficult other people find the game.

Singleplayer RPGs, mushy romance sub-plots... I want them all.
