I'm a Danish student of computer science with a passion for video games. I started playing video games when I was a little kid and my father got a DOS pc. Some of my first favorite franchises were Zelda, Doom, Jazz Jackrabbit and Crash Bandicoot - and they still are today. I like action games and rpgs, but I always find myself prefering something simple, fun, and easy to pick up/put down. I am currently developing a hack and slash first person game for an independent study at Bellevue College, Seattle, WA. The game project is called Colossalum and is available on the "games" page.

Circular release

Phamora Blog

My game project Circular has been released to the public. The game revolves around speed and manoeuvrebility. If you like fast paced games with scoring and racing elements, you ought to give Circular a try.

Let me know what you think and remember to post your score in the comments! - My personal high score is 54 hoops.

The game is playable with a controller, which I would strongly recommend above the keyboard arrows.

Let the game give you at least a couple of minutes of fun. It's easy to learn and impossible to master.

Colossalum v1 Release

Finally after three months of work - and as the conclusion of my travels overseas is upon me - version 1 of the Colossalum project has been released! This marks a major milestone in the game project.

The game has a bunch of features to try out including a randomly generated forest to explore, a couple of interesting enemies and six different weapons with which to fight them, and an arena to fight them in. The game starts out fairly easy, but if you don't look out, you may well get overpowered quickly.

The game has been polished alot since it's inception, and has a perfectly playable gameplay loop. In it's current state, the game is very expandable and has a plethora of variations to implement from existing assets. Let me know what you think about the game's presentation and the dynamics of the gameplay.

Currently unlocking the weapons is the objective. My estimation is, that the game takes approximately 5-10 minutes of trial and error to understand, and the last weapon should be unlockable within 20-30 minutes.
I will warn against giggles within that timespan.
