It's in the stairwell attached to the cell room you spawn in. At the bottom of the stairs leaning on the wall. You probably didn't see it due to you running from the monster that spawned at the top of the stairs haha xD Good luck with the rest of the story, and hope you enjoy!

Thank you so much! Unfortunately this is the last Amnesia custom story ill be making for a couple reasons. One being that Amnesia scripting is extremely buggy and unstable, and Im working on a couple huge projects AND online school.

But I hope this story will continue to satisfy people's "challenge mod" itch all through the future!

If you want to play the mod, can you please PM me the error log youre getting? And i need to know your system specs, game version, and game vendor.

Hm, I've never heard of this problem. Can you try starting from a previous save from before you gathered the first pot of acid (woah, trippy) and let me know if that did the trick?

Did you go back and get more acid first?

That's odd... I'm going to buy the Steam version of the game soon and test this out. I think a lot of people are having this problem, and It's definitely a game breaking bug. But there is most certainly a "ladder" posed in front of that chain on the wall.

What version of the game are you running ie. Steam, GOG, etc?

And do you have the Amnesia 1.3 patch installed?

Huh... maybe it bugged out of the back wall when you knocked out a brick. Just reload a previous save file and you should be able to find it. Knoxk out the bottom left brick and pull it out with the mouse wheel.

Just downloaded last night. Looks promising :) Ill rate when I'm done one of these days!

Thanks for telling me about this! It all runs perfectly fine on my computer the way i uploaded it, but ill work on fixing it as soon as i get home from work today :)

This should be fixed when I put out the Demo v1.2!

Thanks for your comment and honesty! Did you pick the key up before you died or you never got the key, died and it let you free?

If this happens, just restart and continue story. Should work fine from there! This is an odd thing that I can't seem to figure out. Only happens 1 out of 20 or so times.
