Don't worry about this guy. He gave my Perfected Doom 3 mod a 1 too because it was too hard for him. Funny thing is he said that nobody could beat a single map using my mod when there's countless videos on YouTube of people playing through the maps using my mod. Nevermind all the hard work my friend and I put into adding tons of features to the game. It was just too hard for him so my mod sucks. LOL
In my review I stated I would be surprised if any one has beat a level fair and square in this mod without having to resort to lame quicksaving, just saying. There is difficult and then there is just unbalanced and thats Perfected Dooms major problem.
Your mod is not traditionally hard it is just unbalanced. Sorry but all the nice new content in the world won't make up for poor balancing, hence the 1/10. Just basing my opinion on comparative experiences due to scores of systems and thousands of games I have played, just sayin. Oh might even add that little bit to my review too.
I've sent u a message regarding the unbalanced aspect of my mod. I plan on a big overhaul of the damage scales with the objective of balancing the difficulty but keeping it difficult. Hope to hear from u.
A1 for nostalgia's buffs maybe. I see no relevance and appeal to continue to play an outdated mod on an outdated engine. Unless it added a new slant to the gameplay like with Brutal Doom. Alien TC like the other thousands of games I used to like back in the day are just not fun to game on anymore. They have had their time and sadly now it is over, cheerio...

I would never dare to hate somebody on his own profile page, but this above isnt a reason to hate HL I think.
STALKER has unrealistic characters as well. At least as "unrealistic" as HL characters. And why do you like this game?
Strelock, Scar, Major D are way more believable characters than Dr Nerdy Gordan ripping alien races and Special Forces a new one, don't you think?

But BTW, you are actually right, but Major D is sometimes an one-man army though, right? Was my mistake, you can't compare STALKER and HL.
The gear that Major D gets is overpowered when upgraded, but I felt more lethal playing as Scar as the A.I. wasn't as smart. Strelok he has the no repair feature and guns jamming all the time ah the good old days.
English is my first language and using it badly is my second hobby.
Call of duty much?
CODs alright for kids and teens they seem to eat that crap up, but its not really for mature gamers who have played a lot of different decent quality genres of games.
