The trunk texture was kind of strange with the horizontal lines(about left bottom corner. Good looking leafs and interesting variation in generation!

Interesting work, I like it! How do you handle storing the data? Is the world procedural generated around the player or is it a top down approach with a static array?
So true! I will aim on a mission based game play with a lot of flexibility of game modes on the server side and creativity on the player side.
Then you will even like the fixes better I think. I plan to make the grass 50% more dense, make the grass more random to remove the repetitive feel, increase the resolution of the textures, use more advanced shader features and the grass will hopefully sway in the wind. :)
Don't worry the graphics is just a place holder for future graphics. I will "fix" the grass in many ways before release. But before I start polish I want to have a game to polish. :)

Nice post! I would recommend including also another powerful hack prevention. Kill cam and vote kicking. It's hard so much harder to fool a human than a computer algorithm.
Do you have any ideas on how to prevent graphical hacks like looking through walls?

Thank you! The mesh is a custom mesh built per chunk. Each chunk consist of a 3D byte array. The ground is a block terrain with 4 different heights and automatic smoothing for the top lid.
Most of the work I have put in so far is making the mesh. And the last weeks the generation of the world.
