About the last section, if 2/3 of the players upped and left, it would leave the remaining players with an abundance of food and resources, which might make the community more close-knit and friendlier.

I see you've changed the lands belonging to the Itsek, by adding a lake :],which is nice, didn't really like the broken up mountain range with twisty paths that were there before :/

When they get this "announcement" are they given a list on what to invent?

Say a Tatoime hits +175 in "Sneak/Athletics" would they be able to create an item from a list of inventions to do with running/stealth

Example:
{tick here}Invisibility Cloak
{}Buoyancy Boots(walk on water)
{}Nightvision Spectacles(goggles sound too techy :P)
{}Hidden Blade(Assassin's creed :P)

Whatever item they tick they get a schematic for that item and would have to bring it to an engineer(if it was an airship schematic or something) Or an alchemist if it was a new type of poison.

Well it would be cool if a race could progress technologically by inventors/scientists(these would be players, not NPC's)And a race may be more technologically advanced than another, say the Steir race would be more advanced(underground cities) than the Ghul(tribal race)

But with time, the Ghul race may be equal to the Steir or may even surpass if a Ghul inventor traveled to a Steir town to learn building techniques etc.

This idea is probably a bit too ambitious but might as well suggest it anyways ^_^
