Thanks so much for the comment Flame, really appreciated!
Thanks so much for the comment Flame, really appreciated!
Thanks Rob! I have to have a look at ur game now:)
Thanks for the feedback supragamer I have replied to you in the unity forums :p
Thanks for the nice comment! Glad to hear some people don't see Dora on her :)
Hi Theon! As usual, thanks so much for your kind words!
As for the fall damage is actually a bug, the previous jumping platforms were not considered ground, the code thought she had been too long falling and triggered that - ehem ehem -it's already fixed :P
Thanks for the nice comments and the feedback! I would not mind changing the shadows if it's a general feeling for most of the people.
Glad to hear you are interested!
Thanks MrOtton !
Thanks again Supragamer! I really like the feedback! Gimme more, gimme more! :)
As for the deceleration, there should be a "break/stop" animation when you release the joystick, maybe I have to display it for more time and make the deceleration more aggressive.
Regarding the camera (as well as the character movement) there are still some known issues, but is nice to know exactly where so I can locate the issues quicker!
Thanks again for your help, this is much appreciated!
Wow, that's really nice and detailed feedback supragamer!
The shader on the trees is just temporay, some of the meshes have only one side. I didn't have time to duplicate the faces so I created a 2 pass shader with culling front and then back activated, so that's the reason why they look weird, it will be solved at some point :).
Also, all the other suggestions are really valid and relevant, and all of them have been added to the todo list!
As for the textures, I bought most of them on online shops, not sure what the creation process was for most of them, but I looked for hand-painted-cartoonish ones :)
Thanks again for your help!
Oh, it's you ;) Thanks so much for help on everything Theon! Really appreciate it!
Thanks so much for the comment supragamer!
The split text feature is in the todo list :) thanks for the suggestion!
As for the animations, it's all baked in the animation, no real physics in-game. For more specific information contact contmike (on his youtube channel) should be able to give you more precise answers :)
Hey you are here too! I guess we all try to be everywhere :) Thanks for the comment and good luck with your games too!
Thanks LiloF! Do you see this camera issues on the latest video or in previous ones? Thanks again!
If by the end I manage to get the game optimized enough (some features like the current lighting system wont work on android devices for sure) so it can run on those decently, why not!
I have this idea of doing an online mode, on which you can compete with more people on a level and see who gets the special item(s) first, with the same mechanics, so you could freeze platforms before someone jumps on it, or other players and that kind of stuff.
I was planning to create a project template for unity free along with the game assets for people to create their levels and use them on this mode.
However my todo list is considerably big at this moment :( and this is only on a conceptual stage and won't put my hands on it until I'm done with the main game at the earliest.
Hehe, yeah, that double jump has your trademark :). It was really a nice idea, thanks again for the feedback!
I guess Bob-omb Battlefield is my most favourite level from all the videgames in history, I have spent so many hours just wandering around on that level...
Thanks supragamer! At some point mid game you will get some sort of super powers, giving you more power, a different attack and the ability to glide :)
Jesus, with I year old I could barely control my poo! Haha, thanks for the nice comment though!
That is disturbing but I liked it! I thought at the beginning of the Post Office by Bukowski, then some things started to come together and I was really thinking the end it was going to be a happy one with a sort of moral, but then WTF! haha, you really made an impression! Very interesting game.
Thanks for the comment! Glad to hear it brings you that feeling up. I would love to see this on Wii-U, but first I want to get it on PC and see how much attention gets.
OMG! That's proper feedback, thanks so much Theon! All of them seem pretty valid to me, I'm gonna give them a try and see how they look when implemented :) Thanks again!
Thanks for the feedback supragamersupragamer!
I was thinking the same about the fonts, I tried with different colors and wasnt happy with any of them, I will give it another try!
As for the head movement, that's not part of the animation :) is the headtracking code (the character looks at some relevant objects), however, you are not the first one complaining about the headtracking, I'm gonna definitely change it!
For the level design, first I created a basic terrain on Unity, after exported the mesh and worked on it on blender, and yep, I'm using lightmapping along with cascade shadow mapping.
Thanks once again Theon!
Haha, yep, weel, there is actually 2 flip-jumps :)!
lol, just saw this now :(, thanks for the comment Theon! And of course, will add more JUMPS :)!
Thank you so much for the comment TaksinGames!
Thanks for the comments Theon! Glad to hear you like the flip jump, the animation is not definitive though :P
Many thanks for the kind words Theon!
I think you are the first person that tells me he/she is hyped for the game :), really nice to hear!
I will try to add more content as long as I have savings :P!
