Hello everybody!

I'd like to show some pictures with some of the updates I've been working on recently. I'm in the process of changing most of the textures and shaders, I've added lots of stuff to the level. Fixed numerous bugs (mainly character's movement related).

Also, focused a bit more on the menus and finally, now the main character is wearing glasses and sneakers! (please don't tell me still looks like Dora )

I have to implement some changes on the shadowing procedure, add different options for the camera (auto/semi/manual) and fix some bugs on the navigation and path finding for the enemies to wrap up Alpha v0.31, but before that you can watch a video with some of that here:

Hope you like it so far!

On the one hand, it's visibly *heavily* inspired by Mario 64, right down to character animations.

On the other hand, Mario 64 needs more imitators because the 3D platforming genre deserves a lot more love.

I'm really interested in this.

The flattened UI on the last screenshot is really nice. Maybe keep that trend (both color and form) available on the gameplay UI. The heavy drop-shadow on the score text seems a bit tacky. Anywho, keep up the great work!

Thanks for the nice comments and the feedback! I would not mind changing the shadows if it's a general feeling for most of the people.

When I first saw this, I saw a simple thread of (good) potential.
Now, it's already amazingly fun-looking. I can barely believe the amount of content added between each news post.
The sheer scale of the level shown here has me all tingling with a sense of adventure.

As always, keep up the good work.

Ah, I just noticed one thing I found a little strange:
What is it that hurts the player at 01:01? Fall-damage? It doesn't seem high enough for that, to me...

Hi Theon! As usual, thanks so much for your kind words!
As for the fall damage is actually a bug, the previous jumping platforms were not considered ground, the code thought she had been too long falling and triggered that - ehem ehem -it's already fixed :P

Really bright and colorful levels and great detail. The character doesn't look like Dora to me!
