I use the Marek33 version which XoBaaR made for me because I want to have original HUD and not the one from SGM mod and I'm absolutely glad that he makes it unfortunately it doesn't seem that Moddb reorganize my change of rating from 9 to 10 to this day. I only ask how can I make it myself and he was such a great person that when he replied to me he gives me a link to that version so huge thanks for him.

Knowing xR I wouldn't be surprised to hea that the game had lags from time to time on these settings, no matter the PC.
By the way, think ShoC should be played last if one is interested in te story.

Yes, it does, but the worst thing is that sometimes I need to do a hard restart which I never need to do while playing Shoc or CS. I read on the Call of Chernobyl page (last year) that someone else had that problem, but I didn't play CoP back then so I didn't ask.

But, why? Clear Sky has multiple spoilers about shows throughout the game and CoP has said some things from the main story in shock right in the beginning and also something at the end.

IMO if one already knows all the mechanisms behind the Zone, he cannot really feel the story in CS and CoP. Yeah, they have some spoilers as to the ShoC plot, but what is it compared to revealing us EVERYTHING, which is exactly what ShoC does?
Btw I think the spoilers in CS and CoP are not enough to prepare player for the truth discovered in the CNPP. I played ShoC after CS and CoP (kinda) and still I would never guess what exactly is the Zone, how was it crated, why did they make Monolith and Wish Granter. Thus I think it's correct to say that ShoC spoils CS and CoP stories almost entirely, leaving only gameplay from these games, while playing it after CS and CoP will still get one into the story.

It could be true, but CS and Cop do have also some things new and they are supposed to add things to the story since they are like an expansion pack. For a new player it's definitely best to play Shoc first so he learns how it's going on in the zone, then play CS to know what does happen before Shoc and the Cop which is an awesome ending to this amazing series.

Why I wouldn't feel the story of the CS and the CoP? Considering I like the story in the CoP a lot. CS has also a very good story, but I don't much like the ending and the rushing to the objectives.

That's one side of a coin, but I don't know why you wouldn't understand what did Monolith done there since it's easy to understand. I will not write it here, but I will explain to you everything about it in a PM if you want, since it's very easy and logical.

Basically the Monolith was created to protect the center of the zone from all of the other stalkers since it can damage the zone and that's the reason why emissions and blowouts started to be more and more common in the Zone..

First, I'd like to say that when I begun playing S.T.A.L.K.E.R., knowing nothing about it, I played CS first, then ShoC and CoP, and I think it would be better if I played CoP before ShoC. So I recomended my friend, and after he played all games, he said it was a good decision, so I assume it's highly subjective matter.
As for the Cs and CoP story - I liked the feel of unfolding parts of a greater mystery. That feeling vanished in CoP, as I knew what's going on in the Zone. CoP gives only hints, no one could really guess all the backstory behind the Zone without playing ShoC.
As for the monolith, You misunderstood me. What I meant is that I would never guess the details behind Monolith, Wish Granter and other things playing only CS and CoP. But I played ShoC as well, so no need to explain things to me, m8.

That's fine since everyone has a different opinion, but I still think that it should be played like it was released.

That's true, but you are playing as a military soldier in undercover as a stalker.

Alright my mistake, but please don't post spoilers since I don't want to delete your comment.

Are You joking? What do You think are my comments spoiling exactly, of course except things that we uncover in first 1h of ShoC playthrough?

We know those things, but not everyone completed that game or the other two games, so that's why I'm saying this.

Description

Like with the previous two games I completed this game just yesterday.

I can highly recommend this game and even for new players. However, If you didn't play Shadow of Chernobyl, then you should play it first since it has some spoilers for that game.

Just like in the previous two games I used Absolute texture packs (Absolute Nature 3 and Absolute Structures), Pripyat Restoration Project, Clear Sky Minimods (Realistic flashlight which works great with the Call of Pripyat and also Shadow of Chernobyl), Light HUD v1. 4 by XoBaaR (Marek33 version), Larger FOV in ironsight and last God Rays (aka Sun Shafts) Mod (Alpha) since the Sun Shafts are only at morning or evening and I like them to see in the whole day just like in the CS.

It's definitely an awesome game and if you love Shadow of Chernobyl I can fully recommend this game. I will not say if its better than Shadow of Chernobyl since it's not an easy choice because both of those games are amazing and even if CS isn't so good I enjoyed it too. However, if you are disappointed by CS then play CoP since it's much more like Shadow of Chernobyl and it isn't and rushing to the objecting in a lot of cases like in the CS.
