Could you do a tutorial of one your structures and/or units please, because I think the stuff you make is great.
I have 3DSMax9, but still no idea on how to use it properly, not even how to get the W3X Importer Plugin to work.

Description

This is... awful.

Obviously the extra light in the scene is what is making things brighter, but I am surprised by how bad this is. It is so bad that I might not bother with the next project at all!

I am texturing with the specular map in mind, which is why there is weird colouring on the glass sections. The glass sections are all stacked on top of each other, hence the crazy repetitions, but the idea is that the environment map would make those repetitions hard to make out, unless you were really looking for them.

I think I will calm down the colouring, before I start on the specular.

The bottom line is that it does not matter what it looks like in Max, it only matters what it looks like in Tiberium Wars, and I have had assets look terrible throughout the model and texturing process, only for them to look fine in game.
