The narrative is non-linear, as is the exploration. There isn't any linear progression at all.

There isn't a beta for PS4 yet. Probably won't be until quite close to final release.
black griffin... it's there somewhere in beta16. ;)
Thanks! I'm a big fan of the first one too. That one looks great coloured as well. I'm pretty excited about the sea elf though, I think we can do some really interesting stuff with the Azertash and sea elf cultures and buildings.
I wouldn't say that the different creature forms are levelling. The azertash isn't better or worse than the thylacine or griffon. Just different. Different forms unlock different ways of exploring and different experiences. There is stamina, which limits how long you can fly and run without resting, but there is no levelling.
If you buy Wander now and it gets on Steam you'll get a steam key. Wander is available now from our site and gamersgate and soon from Desura.
Wander is an massively multiplayer game, in that everyone is in a single, giant world together and you don't choose a server to connect to, i.e it's like EvE. However it's not like WoW. It's coop MMO. :)
We're planning to introduce the dream crafting and upgradeable shelter system soon, but it's not in the current version. We're designing it right now.
Sorry, PS4 and PC are the only confirmed platforms at the moment. We're trying to do a lot of stuff to make Wander even more beautiful and really push the next gen beauty aspect (which is pretty hard for an indie!). This means the ps3 version would be a lot of work to make it run well. Focusing on next gen only means we can make the most of our very limited resources.
Hey dobby420, if you get the beta, you get any later releases that come out free. Sorry if this wasn't clear enough. We have a decent number of Linux beta testers at the moment, as some of the team are Linux users. We can always do with more though, as different distro/gpu/drivers combinations add up to new exciting bugs!
Cheers! Lots of work went into it, and Sarah is continuing to work her magic to make it even better. I'm very happy with the results so far.
We're hoping the best thing about multiplayer in Wander is the other players! So far from our forums we seem to be right. :)
We are going to improve the flight mechanics even more soon. We're in the process of moving to a new animation system which will allow a lot more flexibility and blending, so it should look better soon. Thanks for the feedback!
No. Final pricing is something we have to discuss with our distribution partners, but we are planning on around $25. Available via Steam, Desura, etc. We are planning to have a preorder round via IndieGoGo in the very near future.
Hi Skyde,
Wander is about beauty and joy. So we focus on exploring and discovering interesting, beautiful areas with other people. Collaborative discovery is the key to Wander. We're going to be introducing a lot more as we continue, quests where you have to fly/swim/run well, puzzles, detailed sound design and a hopefully very original plot. All of these things are to complement and enhance the basic idea of discovery and beauty. As you explore you also sometimes have to find shelter from the storms. You can also, if you want play Wander like a pen and paper RPG environment.
If you've got any questions, i'd love to hear them as we're keen to explain the concepts behind Wander better. Of course there are a few plot related things that would be spoilers that I can't explain much about.
a storm is coming :)
now you've told me about it I can't stop staring at it :) We will add it to the "to fix" list.
