It's been another fantastically busy week for Wander but it's also been very productive. We've now got a lot of new content in the form of flying and swimming challenges, a floating island, and underwater areas.
The big news is that Wander now has an IndieGoGo campaign and is on Steam Greenlight. If you like what you see, please vote for us, and fund the game. If you're keen on knowing more get on the forums and sign up for the alpha.
Looks really cool, and congrats on Steam Greenlight. Hope you get in! :)
Looks awesome
It does look very nice, well done! I love when the griffin takes off... that's a nice feeling!
But I think the flying animation looks somewhat stiff and repetitive. Try to make the back part of the body wins more from left to right... ?
We are going to improve the flight mechanics even more soon. We're in the process of moving to a new animation system which will allow a lot more flexibility and blending, so it should look better soon. Thanks for the feedback!
Along the same lines, I'd consider making the tree guy's walk less shuffly/shambly, and more swinging/loping with longer strides. He's presumably pretty heavy, so when he gets those limbs moving there should be a lot of inertia that helps him stride along.
Other than that, I love it - this game likes uniquely awesome.
