Cheers, I will continue on too :) glad the combat is going down well.
Progress is looking as great as ever, definitely keep going the way you are :D
Thanks very much guys, I'm glad this change has gone down well with everyone so far. It certainly will offer a lot more freedom and possibility Satori, glad I've finally figured out a direction I am really pleased with. Development is so much fun at times ;)
Thanks very much, fingers crossed it gets funded :)
Yes all being well, I'll also approach Desura, GOG, Humble Store etc. At the moment you get the game with the £10 ($15) tier on Kickstarter which includes some bonus backer stuff.
You will be able to take breaks yeah, there will also be several game modes which affect how Will behaves while you are away but eventually you need to return to make sure he is ok.
It's all still early prototype work at the moment, the fight screens will have more action later down the line and I'm thinking of looking into Spine to animate the fight screens. The level work is still very early on, the final game will be a more populated with things animating and happening.
Indeed it is.
The question you need to be asking is... does the Pier exist still? ;)
Thanks, in the beginning it took a while sketching different creatures before I found something I was happy with. I would still like to concept new types and possibly improve on the existing ones in the future, variety is the spice of life after all :)
Cheers Stryker! Funnily enough there is a news post sitting ready to be authorised. Hopefully it won't take too long, I was aiming to get it up last night but got sidetracked working out a few things for Kickstarter. I'm hoping in the run up to the campaign I can get an update up per day or each other day at the least. Thanks for tracking!
Thanks, just what I like to hear :D
Thanks! I'll hopefully have some new concept artwork to put up later this week.
