Gonna be around 8-10 minutes by the time I finish the maps, still gotta do a couple things, vegetation pass, detailing, and I want to see if I can get that sweet particle system they used in Cry of Fear implemented for weather effects n' stuff c:
Oddly enough, I did get several PMs on youtube from some fairly big channels requesting to use the video, but after checking them out the majority of them were nothing but clickbait channels, fake theory channels, and channels that post fake leaks and other scummy stuff, chose not to reply to any of em' cx
I still have to remind myself that Cry of Fear is running on Goldsrce, the amount of work put into that game and the stunning level of graphical fidelity for such an old engine is simply marvelous. You'd be surprised how many people think it's running on Source or Unity!
Seeing some of CoF's work make leeway into Homeworld would be damn sweet C:
Ouch, yeah, some SU channels can be nothing but trash. Vast majority of "Leaks" are just stolen fan-art and straight-up stolen content from folks who actually worked longer then a half-hour.
This makes me think of that scene from Space Odyssey for some reason.
