Full time work and a social life are the enemies of mapping. Time’s End is not dead. It’s an enormous project, 70+ maps at present although that number will likely go down with cuts and merges. One day I look at it and see something I’m really proud of, another day I look and see a massive clusterfuck.
Why no updates on the TE page? With updates come expectations. It’ll be done when it’s ready. If I die first, my apologies. I don’t think I will, though.
(and no I’m not dying any quicker than the rest of you)

Any updates on Time's End?
I'm working on it when I can. But adulting makes it difficult sometimes.
If you had to throw a dart from 1 to 10, with 1 being "just started" and 10 "complete", where do you think you are? No rush at all, just curious. We've waited 15 years, not scared of another 15!
6 or 7. All levels connected, but there's much more to make happen inside those levels.
Sounds good, thanks for the reply. It's awesome to hear that this. Just finished Life's End and the only real complaint was some areas felt sparse or unfinished. Otherwise top tier level design and scripting. I'll check back in 2033 :)

I played Life's End back in 2007 when I was 11 years old. I liked it so much that I decided to look into making my own mod.
Unfortunately, I was never a good mapper and never got around to actually releasing anything I made, but while learning how to make my own mod, I went down the rabbit hole of learning to code and I became fascinated in coding. Coding became my favorite hobby and later became my job.
Now I'm 27 and I'm a full time software developer and very happy. I guess I can thank you and your absolutely wonderful mod for the direction my life took. I imagine my life might have been very different if I had never played Life's End.
