This error has nothing to do with the mod. From my understanding is this an error in the core of Generals. It always have and always will be there. The contra mod however can make this error happen more frequent.

Played one match with Heat Effects disabled. The game does not feel the same.

I still saw some of this "issue", but at a significantly reduced rate. This issue does not occur every match though. Further testing is still requiered.

Hello. I have noticed an issue which causes the game to crash. I have no idea if you are aware of this, but perhaps there is something you can do about this. Before with my old computer did it crash instantly, but my new computer has been able to handle the issue better. I was able to capture it on video:

The amount of this "issue" depends if the game crashes or not. The game only crashes if I look at it. if I move the camera away quickly enough when this happens, can I prevent it from crashing. It occurs mostly when a bomb is dropped. There is 100% chance of this happening if a large group of infantry is carpet bombed.

Hopefully this can be fixed. :)

THANK YOU! I am having very hard time defeating Demo on 008, and have yet to defeat Inf. I'll try flame vs inf, and try to defeat him there.

Holy crap! I though this mod died months, if not years ago! I just pokes around for a spare glimpse og hope. One quick question though: Is it still inf. only, or are there vechles too?

I like to launch non-games through steam, so I can chat with my friends without alt-tab. Is there a way to launch contra 08 directly through an EXE or other file, and not through the launcher? Through the launcher, does steam not register the game. Only the launcher itself.

I looked in my save history, and I appearently defeated him as Toxin. And completely smashed him as Cyber just now. But that's just 2 / 11. For the majority can I still not defeat him.

Is there a posebillity that you can nerf Juhziz in challange? I can defeat severl generals on medium, with slight challange, but I stand no chance at Juhziz at easy!!

You need to have the mod files in the same folder as the one in Generals.exe. They cannot be in a sepearte one. The only possible problem I can think of.

Turns out that I rarely get that issue. But I always pause the game befre tabbing out.

Restarting in challange when playing against the nuke general, bugs out the cutscene in the beginning. The camera and units only make way to the forest, but not back. Nuke does not launch either.

Pretty much my thoughts.

Also: When I tab out, des the music stop playing, and when the playlist is done, does it not loop. (Or so I have noticed.) Do you know if there is a way to fix this? Would be highly appreciated. :D

Do you know if it possible for you make a config file (I.E. TXT) for old & new voices & music, so people can customize it? Love the new music for GLA, dislike new music for USA. Love new voices for GLA, dislike new voices for China...

Confirmed! All 3 generals worked when I still had that file. Now I only need to find out when and why it gets deleted at times.

I've done some more research. I know now why the 3 new teams surrenders. The file inside the Fixed AI rar/zip file, keeps on getting removed from my PC. I don't know if it's the game, or if it's my PC. I have no antivirus though. So it's not my antivirus deleting it. I got sience to dooo!

Halp anybody? I installed it on my main ZH folder, but it says I've instaleld it on the wrong one. My big brother did exactly as I did, and he got it working. I got TFD btw.

as guest said. I have the same problems. I've done some research into this, and I'm planning to soon release a video to the devs.

The game crashes when you have either the new generals, or the nuke general as AI.

Can it attack air unis?

Sience and research has been done. So faar confirmed with Nuke Gen.

He gets his barraks, 1 power plant, 4 dozers, and may start on his supply. his 2 last dozers do nothing, and game crashed aprox. 2 min - 2:15 seconds.
