Anodyne works perfectly with the last version of Adobe AIR for Linux. I've only tried the demo but the full game should be the same.

You can check instructions how to install AIR 2.6 on Ubuntu (the first answer):

You should look at the answer with the most votes as it has description about missing libgnome-keyring.

The Linux version of Lone Survivor sucks because in fullscreen you don't have keyboard input. I don't have such problems in any game released as AIR package (for example Cardinal Quest, Cardinal Quest 2, Reprisal and Anodyne).

There is a guide for installing Adobe AIR 2.6 on Ubuntu which worked for me splendidly and for many others.

The game runs great under Linux. If you don't know how to install Adobe AIR 2.6 here is a guide for Ubuntu which is more or less relevant for other distributions.

This game doesn't require Steam however there was a free Exile DLC update (five new levels) which never made to Desura (apparently nobody bothers to release update here).

It's available on Steam as Hard Reset: Extended Edition.

Empty Clip do you have plans for porting the game to other platforms. I'm mainly asking for Linux.

The Extended Edition is now on Steam. I wonder how much longer it will take the devs to put it on Desura.

I'm wondering what's the timeframe for 32bit Linux. I'm currently on 32bit Ubuntu but as soon as 12.04 is released I'm planning to move to 64bit so that's still before the end of your Kickstarter campaign. I just wish to check out what's the game about (the concept gameplay) just to know it is for my liking.

Why didn't you provide here link to your Kickstarter campaign?

The new version Beta 5 with implemented OpenAL works great for me on my Ubuntu with OSSv4.

What's the screen resolutions availaible to choose. I'm wondering because on my monitor which has 1920x1080 the highest I can set for Metagolf is 1280x1024 in fullscreen.

Thank you very much for making the OpenAL as the default sound layer under Linux (and actually implementing it from ground up just because I and others complained). I've finally could try the demo it's quite good and everything seems to sound right (it's a nice blend of arcady golf and platformer).

I've bought the Beta version because it's good to see developers listening to users requests (of course in sane bounds).

Why you used PulseAudio directly as a sound driver is just beyond me. You should use an abstraction layer like OpenAl, FMOD or even BASS, libao just like any other sane game developer.

PulseAudio is the first thing that I will purge from Ubuntu 12.04 LTS and any other Linux distribution. People say that it improved by the time but I don't see it at all. I also don't need it because it doesn't offer anything for me that I can't get from OSSv4 and people are also using pure ALSA.

I've tested demo of Deep Black on wine-1.4 and it works flawlessly (very good fps and no glitches). There was only one thing that I had to do to get the installer of standalone version working (install mcf42 via winetricks):

winetricks mcf42

I've aborted the installation of Visual C++ runtime sp1 and DirectX and it didn't impact compatibility with Wine at all.

The newest version v1.5 fixed this issue.

I've downloaded the standalone demo and it started with my language (which is Polish) in the menus, but in every cutscene the subtitles appear in other language (most likely Czech or Slovak). Is that how it supposed to be (note that I was using Wine compatibility layer on Ubuntu).

I have GeForce 9600 GT and the demo works flawlessly on wine-1.4 from git (I didn't even install the DirectX). Graphic cards from AMD are known to make much more troubles when it comes to Wine.

Maybe because it is one of the most powerful and advanced engines with huge community of experienced developers.

I think that Protektor wrote about Humble Bundle situation. He's definitely right. Linux users pay more, but they always are the smallest group. In the end Windows accounts for much more even Mac.

You are wrong NeoAxis doesn't have a native version:

Yes it is intended. I've installed M.A.R.S. a couple months earlier (without Desura) and it created the same directory, because it basically is a shooter (just not the typical one).
