I was wondering if you'd say that again, on one hand, it's hilariously perfect, but on the other hand, it's incredibly disrespectful.(You should have had the sense to not post the comment, if you want our content fOR FREE). Maybe if you read what I wrote, you would learn more about how to potentially plan& develop your RTS mods.(and they wouldn't be dead)

Your loss.
One critical point of the article is to let everyone know that bing entitled, for getting our content is not going to fly.
maybe I'll shorten it down to chunks of 180 characters each, and release slowly it over many years.
I literally spent almost all the last 2 days making sure this was perfect. If you don't want to spend the time to even just skim like Zeke, then honestly, I'm making a note of your username, and I'm not going to answer questions you have about our project.
I understand people are busy, I understand most people these days have a hard time sitting down and reading things, but did you know, you could get your computer of phone to read to you?
We are planning to do developer walk throughs of the ASI, and we might recap a bit, but then if after 40 seconds people aren't hooked, thy will just move on. People who are actually interested will take the time, maybe not read it all in one go. But chip away at over time. But then you and others tell us you don't want to read at all. Even when we have descriptions in game, telling everyone what something is, and what it does, still people say they don't understand, or they think something is broken. If we put the information out there, in any format, and you don't take the time to consume it, then it's not our fault, if you have questions that are literally answered over and over again. Remember, you, and everyone are getting everything we are doing “For Free” All we ask is for people to make a bit of effort. But then you tell us, we should present things as simple and easy as we can, and normally I’d agree, that is what marketing teaches people, but in that business situation, they are making money. We do not apologize for doing things how we want to do them. If you have suggestions or feedback, and how we do things, then say so, and we will take it under advisement.

1. Is the menu music different? We did not change the CC3 menu UI at all. We intend to add a custom TS logo, but it will likely be later.Go to Skrimish and see if ASI is a faction you can select at the bottom.

2. It sounds like your not using the game browser, to launch the mod. Going into the documentsCC3 TW> Mods >TS, and trying to launch from there does nothing. Read the other comments here, to find out the standard mod installation instructions.

3. What version of CC3TW are you using? CD? Steam? Origin?
Instructions are dependent on which you are using. Look in the descriptions of all the releases for other installation instructions.

To be clear,
if you look at the concept, the left version (packed) is just a vehicle, it has no weapons and is the same as the original rig.
The right version is the unpacked version, in this state, it is put near a tiberium field in most cases, and it sits there, stationary. Gathering tiberium. You can activate a special ability while it is unpacked, that gives ground control, and takes the tiberium harvesting away/ (this is a one time permanent ability.)
The power cost has not yet been determined, but it likely will have some power cost while harvesting.

Once again, as a base vehicle on the left, it can't harvest, nor attack just like the normal rig and MCV.

Good point, I did neglect to say it was also replacing surveyors, so it would also have a button on it that would give ground control permanently.

I didn't mention it because I wanted to see how people would react to replacing 3 core things 1st, before rolling our a 4th replacement. In the Surveyor mode: named "Pioneer mode" it can't harvest tiberium. Should we add back repair drones, I think TE or some mod has repair drones on surveyors.

Also,we are not making a campaign. And will probably not mess with the CC3 campaigns. Most of our original faction changes tthat we have planed will be hard to balance in Campaign mode, not to mention re-coding the AIs to do what we want. Skrimish AI is something we are carefully considering.

For some comparison in CC3:
Surveyor cost 1,500, 15 sec build time
Refinery cost 2,000, 20 sec build time
Rig cost 2,000 build time 20 sec build time
Harvester cost 14,00, 14 sec build time

Having one unit that fills all four roles and costs around 2K, with likely a 20 sec build time is not only extremely efficient, but nnot a waste at all if there is no tiberium in the area. (if there is no tib in the imidiate area,we can have it get tib from far away, just like sending a harv far from the ref, the way it's coded, the harv is invisible, or something like that)

In the end, you are technically paying 600 more for a harv, but you are technically saving a full 2k on a ref. not to mention SRRs can redeploy like rigs, so u can move it to a new field. (not counting the pioneer mode, if you used it)

I'll add pioneer mode to description.
We will obscurely need to pay around with values for balance.
2,500-3,000, 20-30 sec build time or something...

Trying access the settings crashes the game most times.In some cases it has a pink background when it does go to settings.
Also,
When I tried to play Steel Talons it crashed at the selection menu after that my game browser was unusable. I had to reinstall the game on steam to fix the issue.

Yes.
Colony and D51 only have their structures completed, we will get to them in the future. Not to mention how difficult balancing would be if we released more than 1 faction at a time.

When u put in the disc, a pop up window appears, with teh C&C3; logo.
There are a few options at the bottom of the window. "play", "game browser", "check for updates" (greyed out), "quit"

Click on game browser> click mods tab, find Tiberium secrets. (This is teh same way to instal and get to any C&C3;: Tiberium wars mod.

Just call the TS folder "Tiberium Secrets" Remove the version # from the folder name.

Good,origin is very unfriendly to mods. The conventional mod installation instructions will work then.
Make sure C&C3;: Tiberium wars installed.Next check your documents folder named the game folder, if you don't have one, go in game, and save a replay. Now you will have a folder under documents. With a replay folder, create a mod folder if you don't have one there, and create a Tiberium Secrets folder, download and drop all files in there. The mod doesn't work on default minimum graphics, so adjust all to max.And it should work.
