Hello, I have a problem with the game... It will not start for me on Ubuntu 13.10 x86_64. Here are some ltraces and straces from the game when it tries to start.
It segfautls almost immediately.
STRACE: Pastebin.com
LTRACE: Pastebin.com
I have installed the libraries that were needed (it took some time to read the error messages and find the right 32 bit libraries.
Ok, now I got the game to run, what you had to do was turn all auxiliary screens from nvidia settings, then set the screen resolution to something low (720p) then start the game then reset the screen sizes and turn on the auxiliary screens....
This game is buggy as hell. I would like the ability to set the window size, like a launch parameter or something.
I have a problem: I can not press "new game".
Go here: Fmod.org
Download the API tar file
extract them somewhere
copy the contents of the lib folder into /path/to/desura/common/finding-teddy/
now it should work...
I just sym-linked it to the correct name, now I can start it from desura.
Also, I had to set the +x bit on some file, can not remember which one, though.
so...
One question, is this game on Desura, or do I just get a steam key? If I only get a steam key, that would be a bummer. It looks good, though.
(I "lost" Teleglitch when it went on Steam :-/, do not want that to happen again.)
It works now.
Ignore this...
Also: Started playing it...
0_0...
I do not know if I want to sleep tonight...
The file size is now 2.5 GB...
Seems to be fixed... Will report back in a few minutes...

Can any one over at Frictional look in to the problems with the sh.bz2 files?
They are too small and corrupt.
bunzip will not even extract it, it says the bz2 file is corrupt.
$ bunzip2 -d -k -f AmnesiaAMFP-1.0.0.sh.bz2
bunzip2: Compressed file ends unexpectedly;
perhaps it is corrupted? *Possible* reason follows.
bunzip2: No such file or directory
Input file = AmnesiaAMFP-1.0.0.sh.bz2, output file = AmnesiaAMFP-1.0.0.sh
It is possible that the compressed file(s) have become corrupted.
You can use the -tvv option to test integrity of such files.
You can use the `bzip2recover' program to attempt to recover
data from undamaged sections of corrupted files.
bunzip2: Deleting output file AmnesiaAMFP-1.0.0.sh, if it exists.
the sh.bz file IS corrupt.
bunzip2 will not even extract it.
The controls are broken if you use a game-pad up and down on the right analogue stick is take "photo" and "place photo".
Game pad information (via usb-devices):
P: Vendor=07b5 ProdID=0315 Rev=01.01
S: Manufacturer=Mega World
S: Product=USB Game Controllers
I: If#= 0 Alt= 0 #EPs= 1 Cls=03(HID ) Sub=00 Prot=00 Driver=usbhid

The Linux version seems to be wrongly configured, if you go to the game options in the the game list in Desura the exec line if worng; it says: "LA;UNCHER_EXE%"...
IDK if the is something worng with Desura or the packageing...
Thanks!
Only had to right-click the game in the list -> properties -> User Launch Options -> -w
Ok, now I got it in to wondow mode (using ["window\"] = true), but it still the same resolution, how does one got it in to say VGA (or so) windowed resolution?
err... anyone know how to get Teleglich to run in windowed mode?
I tried to add ["fullscreen"] = false, and ["windowed"] = true, to the settings.lua file, but it did not work...
Any suggestions?
It seems that for the game to run on x86_64 you need to install the ia32-libs package on debian based systems.
You guys are just pushing the bundries with DarkPlaces...
I could hardly belive that Steel Storm: BR was DP, but this? It is insane (in a good way) what you are doing.
Keep it up!
That Is awsome!
good work...
A video where some one talks about the game would be good, like what they are doing and why. General gameplay info and such...
Just a thought.
Sorry, the correct line is:
Exec=/usr/bin/padsp /home/user/games/desura/desura %U
Y U NO DESURA KEYS!?!?
To anyone that has had problems with sound in meany Desura games on GNU/Linux, add "psdsp" to the start of the launcher
command, IE: in the .desktop file for Desura.
like this:
Exec=psdsp /home/gego/games/desura/desura %U
this fixes sound in meany games..

Dear Baselisk Games, When the third books comes out, will there be a "book set", all the books in one, so to say, at a reduced price?
//Gego
Oy, Boys and girl.
I has question:
I can not get the URL handler for "desura://" to work in Firefox, any ideas as to why?
It looks good, The only problem I am having is that WASD is hard coded.... and I have a Svorak (Swedish Dvorak) keyboard...
it would have been better if the [UP] [DAWN] [LEFT] and [RIGHT] keys for that....
