some notes though i dont like how much the momentum is truncated when you land from a jump and going into a crouch should be smoother like in goldsrc

Is this a 1:1 remake out are you going to excersize some artistic licenses? Because I was in the planning stages of remaking they hunger if you want my files I can totally give them up, back stories for the characters solid explanation of zombies and locations.

i understand that mocap is supposed to speed up the animating process and capture nuances in human movement but this guy was moving like a stiff crappy animation anyway so it seems like kind of a waste of money, none of the sequences seemed too complex to hand animate.

yeah it looks weird but it is a test video, are you guys just porting or are you going to give it some sort of make over?

everything looks great! one suggestion though i would definitely lay down a clip brush over the stairs for some smoother movement, i know i like to jump all over the place and unclipped stairs are horrible for that.

is this a remake or more of an updated port?

I don't this is too bad of an idea, these guys have obviously spent a lot of time on this mod would like to see some money out of it.
but honestly mods aren't made to be turned into an indie game, I'm looking at you Orion.
The best thing you can do is finish this mod and perhaps have it featured on steam and get some recognition and then create an indie game and charge people for it.(maybe a sequel) (like NS2)

i like the powerful facial pose.

clothing needs more wrinkle definement. (normal maps)
the head looks great, but i would move the eyes down a tad.
shoulders are too round. (ive seen this alot with female models, i dont know why this happens)
between the hips and the ribs it is too straight curve it out abit.
and the bottom of the pelvis goes down a little too far.
