I hope you're being sarcastic. As far as I know, there's even a Plugin for Bukkit to teleport between Worlds, it works the same way as you teleport to the Nether.

If you look at your Worlds, the Nether will be a separate 'world' with a _Nether prefix. If I create a World called Holy, the Nether will be called Holy_Nether.

So it's more than possible.

Also, the Skybox is there to simulate a far distant - without using Models which would unnessesarily chew on your valuable FPS. Should you happen to get outside of the Skybox the game wouldn't "Explode". It would either Crash/Error or do the what I call "Sticky Frames"(Not sure what it's actually called, the phenomenon that occurs when there's absolutely nothing at all to render.).

So basically, space wouldn't be impossible. Of course it wouldn't be an easy task, but technically you could use the Nether as reference. With a _Space prefix, perhaps?

What he means with "Link together saves" is beyond me, but if he mean to merge 2 or more Worlds together, I don't see why you would even want to to that to start with. The worlds are big enough as they are already. =P

What I think Mojang should put high priority on are RPG Skills to enhance Survival gameplay, as well as improving Mining/Refining/Smelting to make Mining and Blacksmithing more appealing. Currently, it's a very, very dull feature of the Game. As there's only Iron, Gold and Diamond to make good use of.

I'm a big fan of Supreme Commander 2! The Campaign ain't that great(Except for the Cybran Campaign, Cybrans for teh god damn win, rite?) The gmaeplay however is really nice

The "Built in Solar Panels" for the Flashlight seems quite useless as the Flashlight's used in Dark Areas, right? Thus there won't be any Sun to recharge the Flashlight...

'Tis the Russian TOS-1 "Buratino" . A Mobile Artillery. However, it doesn't fire Explosives, they're most, if not always loaded with Incendiary Missiles.

It looks great, however! the TOS-1 is presonally my Favourite 'tank' of all time. I'm a huge fan of Mobile Artilleries, and the TOS-1 is by far the most Brutal one.

The M270 MLRS taking the Second Place. Would be nice if you'd include this Artillery Vehicle for the Allies as you implemented the TOS-1 for the Soviets. Just a suggestion though!

I'll be Watchin' this! Best of luck guys, I can't wait to see this released!

Well, maybe so. But then it's without doubt an untextured Mesh. The real lagfest begins when you've applied a texture to the Mesh(es). As it don't have to render just a regular Polygon. It will also have to render all Pixels on every Polygon.

I'd say the W3D Engine(C&C Renegade) can handle around 3-6k Polygons textured pretty smoothly. And that is Textured.

You've got a point.

The GAAT Gun is the CORE's equivalent to the ARM Sentinel. And it's more of an Anti-Vehicle as well as an Anti-KBot Turret.

It does have really bad accuracy against Aircraft, unless they're really slow.

I've googled a lot, but can't find anything 'bout it. I guess the only way to find out would be to ask the Developers themselves... I'll try to come up with something, though.

Why should we? He's using Copyrighted material. Even though he don't make a Profit out of it - I doubt he asked them for any Permission at all, thus what he's doing is Wrong - it could even be considered Illegal without proper Permission by the respective Owner.

It looks good so far, however, you might wanna use the NoLight texture on the outer side of the Walls. Thus, to make it more like the Original Alien Swarm and avoid unwanted and unnecessary rendering.

Also, the Lighting isn't very good. But I understand it's still a Work In Progress! :)

Yeah, TA have always been my favourite RTS of all time. Even compared with this century's releases.

I honestly haven't heard about TA 2, I'll definitely do some research about it! :)

EDIT:

I did some research, and the only thing related to Total Annihilation as a sequel or something like that is Supreme Commander. Which have already been released. It's a great RTS, but not even close to match TA.

Well I know how to make it Standalone(So you won't be needed the original copy of C&C Renegade.). But I'll need permission by EA Game before I make it Standalone.

I haven't really planned to add any Skirmish Mode, maybe in later version when I've got some stuff running...

Well the ARM and the CORE will be relatively the same, I still haven't figured out how to do yet. One option would be to replace the regular Infantry Skeleton with a Mech Skeleton, but that'd need a shitload of work and animations to be done...

Or if you just spawn as some random Infantry(Probably more Rebel-ish for the ARM, I suppose?) and you plug yourself into the 'Network'(Purchase Terminal) and go from there, your character will be put in the Vehicle after you've created your Purchase.

Yeah, I got a lot of stuff to think about :P Not the best planning, but at the moment I'm prioritizing the Model and Model Rigging to get most Vehicle and Structures ingame to get an idea of what would be best to do.
