Recently uploaded a couple new videos showing some progress in areas such as creating hovercraft vehicles as well as more implementation of resource collection.
Also updated my profile but I think I broke a few things in the process. This post is a test to make sure things are still working.
Thank you for following my progress! Im glad you find interest in my project. 😊
Made a lot of progress on a new vehicle creation menu and an accompanying equipment menu (similar to the likes of Hostile Waters).

Another day, another quick video:
This is a quick update showing some newly added object avoidance programmed in to the AI.
The avoidance is very basic and jittery at the moment, but with the basics in place it is a good proof of concept.
Project Hades has just hit 1000 visitors! Words cannot describe how much I would appreciate any efforts to spread word of Hades around. If you know someone who might be interested in what Hades is shaping out to be, please pass on a link to this page. Share around your gaming groups or on your social media pages. Every like, every comment and every share help keep my development on track!
A new video has been uploaded!
This development update includes further additions to the AI aspects of Hades.
-AI controlled vessels will now strafe when firing at enemy units.
-There are now 3 methods of assigning commands: Move, Attack and Recycle. When Moving the crew member will not keep a look out for any enemy units or resources. When Attacking the crew member will attack any enemy unit that enters a certain range, and Recycle does a similar job but with a resource collection vehicle.
The next item on the list will be to add the ability to queue up multiple commands, such as:
-Move to Location A;
-Attack to Location B;

Hey everyone! Long time member, first time poster.
I've currently got a project in the works that follows the core gameplay elements of games like Carrier Command and Hostile Waters. If anyone is interested in checking it out, you can find my page at:

Time for an update!
As of this post there is a new video for followers to watch and share around. You can find it in the videos section of the Project Hades page, or at either of these links:
Project Hades has taken a turn with it's environment setup and story line. The game mechanics will remain the same in being reminiscent of games like Hostile Waters: Antaeus Rising and Carrier Command: Gaea Mission but everything will take place on an alien planet that is completely underwater.
Feel free to watch the blog as well for other updates.
Definitely! The Magpie was very useful in HW and there will definitely be something similar implemented.
Greetings to anyone who may be watching the progress of Project Hades so far! I recently had to go on hiatus due to moving in to a new home with my fiance. I was meant to have internet connected over a week ago, but due to unforeseen circumstances I won't be able to get an adsl line connected until the 31st of March. Until then I am using a wifi dongle that Telstra provided to me free of charge.
Once the internet is up and running I should be able to release some more media. :)
Dev Update: 06/02/2016
Just a small update today. I've managed to implement mission waypoints and an arrow on the HUD that points towards the mission waypoint. I've also started adding in the basics for a tutorial to teach the controls for the vehicles. I intend on publishing a video when I have enough new and updated content to show off.
Dev Update: 22/01/2016
