Project Hades is a vehicular-based real time strategy game aimed at giving the player an array of vehicle and weapon combinations to help them achieve victory in each mission through various strategic options.
This video details the beginnings of AI control for vessels. The latest updates include:
-The choice of 10 crew members to set as a pilot when building a vessel.
-Setting a waypoint for a crew controlled vessel using right-click while in overview mode.
-AI controlled vessel will move towards the waypoint and the waypoint will be cleared upon arrival.
-When left to their own devices, AI controlled vessels will scan for nearby enemies. Upon finding an enemy they will move to within firing range of the enemy and proceed to fire.
-AI waypoints are at this stage always a predetermined height from the lower point under the waypoint's location.
Please note that there are still a lot of placeholder assets such as models and textures being used. All rights of these assets belong to the original creators, and will be subsequently replaced over time.
