Sounds really promising, love that you've decided not to use iron sights, though in some games they may be ok where you have long distances, in close combat it just slows things down, good choice.
I'm still hoping you'll consider adding a progressive objective mode with respawning like RTCW and W:ET, you already have some of the mechanics in place just as planting bombs and hacking controls. Either way will have to try it out when the game is released, who knows the round based system may grow on me.
Good luck.
This is looking awesome, tried one of the earlier versions a while back now, will have to try it again for sure. Well done to everyone involved.
Game I like to play and know how to develop for, that's why I stick to idtech3 & 4 as my fave online shooters happen use it and they aren't as saturated as other engines and games.
Some awesome mapping skills there, the leaves look OK, I have similar bushes in my garden, they are about that size :)
Ah right, I'm with you now, sadly not my cup of tea, although I wish you best of luck, the game is looking awesome. I'll watch just in case you decide to add other gamemodes later on :)
When you say squad based system and objectives tailored to each level, do you mean similar style of game of that of RTCW and the Enemy Territory games?
Will the team assault mode be similar to the Enemy Territory games?
Always wanted to see a Star Wars game/mod using that style of objective based team play.
Time's wrong.
Going to reinstall COD4 for this mod I think, looks awesome but sadly I'm not the biggest fan of the COD gameplay but I'm big SW fan :)
Reminds me little of Ghostbusters but a quality model nonetheless.
This sounds awesome, will have to try it out, need to reinstall the game first though.
Quit my full time job to go Volunteering for few month in Borneo.
Looks awesome, something seems to be happening with the patches though on the curved ceiling support things, also is that a custom R2D2 model? looks really detailed!
Textures seem bit over stretched in parts, compared with indoor screenshots it doesn't look that great if I'm honest.
I think I just made mess in my pants. Fantastic update!
Looking good as usual, how well do the weapons shoot when firing from the hips at close to medium range? I was never too keen on ironsights for these ranges in any game due to the sight model restricting the view, be good if they weren't needed too much.
You could drive a tank in original.
IRC for game related stuff, MSN for real related stuff.
And you wonder why you find it hard to find help on the project...
Mod looks really nice, just shame I could never get into COD4 (or any other COD for that matter), anyway good luck chaps!
BTW, I have a full size replica of the DL44 blaster if want some photo references for it?
This mod has put big smile on my face after such long day, good luck chaps!
Shame I could never get past opening stage due to some bugs as this looks rather nice.
With good reason, Zelda doesn't really translate well into Multiplayer in my opinion, I'm not sure what the developer's plans are for this particular game as the description is vague at best and doesn't stand out as something I'd be interested in just yet. If it was to retain the aspects of Zelda I personally feel are important such as exploration for example then maybe I would change my mind but seeing as the game world is remake of 2 existing games I don't think I'd get much pleasure from it.
Is that music from Commando or Predator in 2nd video?
Looks nice mod, any progress on the ET:QW mod or is that dead in water now?
After the positive comments I thought I would give a try.
Not my cup of tea at all, too slow and so on, should have gathered from description "aims to provide a visceral & realistic combat experience in a rich futuristic setting.".
Nicely made though.
Be pretty good trying to do something interesting with the wii. It's a shame most of the developers cant be arsed to do anything with it and mainly release party games, with all the great ideas that have come about from mod teams and indie devs over the years on the PC, we could see some truly great stuff on wii if they had a chance.
My only gripe would be that Mos Eisley looks too clean at the moment but that aside it's pretty awesome.
