I'm so excited, I can't believe there's a release date now.

To remove this date it is necessary to edit thousands of files, so the resolution of this aesthetic problem remains pending for now.
That's what I thought, maybe this is linked to the engine.
This is less noticeable on simple flags, such as the French tricolor. However, some get much worse, for example the German fascist flag (uncensored), the swastika clearly loses quality:

It's exactly what I expected, thanks for this minimalist version of the shaders! I also wrote a message on your profile related to another graphic issue, I think it's worth looking at.
Can you make a video showing how to configure it to look exactly like screenshoots please?
After extracting the compressed mod, you enter folder "NEM_1.21" and copy all the files inside (except for the notepad), and then paste them in the "mod" folder inside the main folder of Victoria 2.
After doing this installation, start your Victoria 2 and mark New Era Mod 1.21 before playing

Hello! The flags displayed in the game are more pixelated and of poorer quality compared to the flags in gfx/flags. If it is not a nuisance, can you prevent the flags from losing their resolution scale when resized by Victoria 2?
For comparison: On the left is the original flag, and on the right the in-game flag

That's weird. First you need to have version 3.04 of Victoria 2 (preferably on steam) and the DLC's Heart of Darkness & A House Divided.
If you already have your game updated, try to delete the NEM folder located in "C:\Users\username\Documents\Paradox Interactive\Victoria II" and open your game after doing this
Yes, you are correct. If you can remove the textures of mountains, forests etc. from the political map (when the zoom is further away from the world) I would be very grateful
The quality of the map with this mod is simply impressive! However, I wanted this quality without an opaque map, without the texture of the terrain appearing. How to eliminate this transparency when the zoom is further away from the earth?
This is a shame, I imagine the potential to have roads, railways, squares, civil constructions, factories, canals, train stations, streets with sidewalks and tram tracks, poles and maybe even some of the first mass-produced vehicles (parked), that are destroyed like buildings. All this in a way that when randomly generated is functional
Regarding the map, I know that there are several scenarios to play in a planned battle in the menu, but when it comes to the campaign, will there be any changes? such as the exchange of stone highways of the early 19th century for macadam roads with smooth surface tar mortar, widely introduced in the 1900s, especially with the evolution of the automobile? will cities also be denser? will there be new buildings and train lines? (I refer exclusively to battle maps, no to the campaign’s strategic map)
Hello! You could make a version compatible with the NEM mod?
Will this mod work with agriculture, mining, timber and fishing preceding to machining as in Age of Enlightenment?
Why was the minimap replaced by the old black and white one?
Unfortunately Paradox uses a proprietary format that makes it impossible to change animations and formats, it is only possible to change the texture
Wow, that was really creative! Using the HOI3 infantry without a weapon and helmet and switch colors within diffuse file. Best alternative path considering the proprietary format. Do you have more plans for the units?
