I am an Indie game designer based in the UK. I have recently graduated from University with a first class honours in game design. Now I am following my passion for creating fun and unique games and learning all of the skills necessary to create new and fun gaming experiences. My current specializations are in Unity3D with c# and JavaScript, Sound design, Foley recording and music design for games, basic 3D modelling and texturing in 3DS max. I have good knowledge of the Adobe Suite especially Photoshop, After Effects and Audition. I have also worked with UDK, CryEngine and Hammer in the past as well as LightWave3D9. My interests in game design are in level design and sound design for games. Other interests of mine are Metal gigging, Motorsports, Gaming and creative writing. I am hoping to make it big in games with the smallest team (one!) Please feel free to contact me if you would like any help, to collaborate or extra pair of hands for a project!

Basically seems like these development and channel menus appear on other sites. I tried it in a dropbox window and they don't appear. It shouldn't set mode to development by default but if it does, Right Click and uncheck Development option. The game should restart and everything should be fine! Tested on 3 computers just now!

Not seeing this on my end when visiting the website, would you mind posting me a screenshot at andrewlloydgd@hotmail.co.uk and your browser and specs? As far as I know the development build tickbox was unticked on build so all should be fine.

Thanks for your feedback man, you have given me some very interesting points to consider for an update and to take the game forward :D I really appreciate it!

It is an interesting thing with the community links as well. I think that could be a much better idea than as you say keep having adverts at the side :) I definitely think a link back to the sites a good idea :)

Merry Christmas and a Happy new year to you also! :) Thanks so much for being a star for me! :D

To summarise they basically said "The gameplay didn't look sophisticated enough" - This I can understand, I probably haven't found the best way to show the games variance in difficulty off with the video I posted. I will be working to correct this after Christmas. They also stated "They did not feel there would be a big enough market" - I could see this being a potential issue as frustrating puzzle games aren't entirely everybody's favourite cup of tea unlike for example FPS/RPG games that have a massive fanbase. Clearly this issue shows there is a need for me to connect to a specific audience and give the game more of an identity in terms of genre/expectancy. Having reviewed what I put up I definitely think more media/changes and overall improvement to the game could fix this! I can't wait to start once we get the holidays out of the way!

No mention of the social links were made, although now you have said that it does raise an important point that maybe I should remove them for general use. I literally included them for now as it is my first commercial project, I am trying to gain visibility as a developer and share my works with the world! Maybe this method was not the right choice on reflection. What is your opinion on it? Would you include these in Geometric Shift anywhere?

The file/linkage woes should be over for now, once again I apologize for the amount of downtime there was last night and I hope nobody missed out because of it. Cheers for the interest and everyone supporting and reposting about the game :)

Not to worry! I am just in awe of how many people have come here to check out my little game that was merely an obscurity a couple of days ago. I am so touched and blown away by all the support! :)

Hit a temporary snag with the giveaway due to unprecedented demand, if you can host the game online somewhere and post a link up on the ReversE page so people can download! Would be highly appreciated. I am aiming to solve the problem as I have three uploaders on the go to host the game files again! Cheers

Hey, Today I released a version of my game ReversE for Linux and is available to buy for the nominal sum of 69 Great British Pence! It is also completely DRM free! The game should work on all modern forms of Linux as stated by Unity Technologies group! Check it out over here Indiedb.com and let me know what you think!

Thanks for trying the game out! It's achieved its first goal of being a good time waster then! :D Mm I am inclined to agree, although my original intention for falling was based off of Kula World Youtu.be However I will definitely look at ways to tighten up the dying/replay sequence and try and add an extra form of feedback. I currently have a detection zone way below the level which if one of the players enters a trigger there then the Retry button/text is displayed. Appreciate the feedback!
