OR instead of doing what Ripia300 suggest, go to play>right click on Project Zomboid>verify files>make sure the 3 check marks are marked> click verify> HAPPY SURVIVING!!!

got the same error twice.
when it give u the 3 options choose the verify files, it will install the missing files verify it and reinstall it and it worked fine for me :D

did anyone try to uninstall and reinstalling the game and also looking at the cmd window see if theres things loading??? it may take more than few seconds sometimes

you can find a police station, and relax man the game is in development and they plan to make it bigger, much much more bigger so eventually they will come more weapons and if u cant wait find some mods...

or the wether report up in the right corner next to the clock

may be mods i have been investigating and theres some cool stories that users made with the mod creator, you can find them at the developers page theindiestone.com search in forums or in google... personaly im only playing the surviving story and its already very difficult, and also theres a tutorial u can find in theindiestone.com forums made by a user... good luck tell us if u get to play the mods! :D

First of all i just downloaded desura for the game, the game is one of the most difficult and realistic zombie surviving simulators, CONGRATULATIONS!!!!

now for the black screen error where u launch the game in 32 or 64 bits and it doesnt start its probably cuz u dont have java updated, go to the official page and download the necessary for ur pc/laptop.

and for the missing menus and all the missing GUI run the compatibility mode on 64 or 32 bits, i have windows 8 and i guess the game is for windows 7, cuz i have been running the game since yesterday in compatibility mode and theres no missing menus since then.

I'M REALLY ENJOING THE GAME!!!
